I don't think this will effect objects already built so they will stay in your settlement. only things this mod changes is the components and conditions (perks) needed to build more of them.
I really like the concept (for regular play as well as survival, more of this sort of thing would be good, imho), but I'm not sure Lead Belly is best choice for the sinks because at level 2 you're only one level from rad immunity on water anyway. Chemist level 1 maybe better?
You make a good point, but with lead belly rank 2 being lvl 6 and rank 3 being lvl 17 it allows plenty of time to make use of them. And I think my biggest issue was just the fact I could build them at every settlement I get and therefore have unlimited water to drink without even carrying anything. thanks for bringing this to my attention though because its an angle I didn't think about at all when creating this, I just liked the idea of having them behind some kind of barrier for the very start of the game.
If anyone did want to change the perk requirements it would be pretty easy in fo4Edit, just change the condition of the constructible object.
Also I will be uploading a new file that changes the water purifiers so if you like the concept of making things slightly more challenging you might be interested. Thanks for the feedback!
As a survival player, I've always felt like this was too easy. Once you become a veteran in this mode, you actually don't even build those as early as you used to. Still, much more immersive and challenging when you add perk limits to their construction. Well done !
