The install instructions seem to be outdated unless I'm missing something or doing it wrong. Actually, doing it wrong is giving me a better result, just downloading the ESL for the original, the reanimations, and then this and ordering them accordingly.
The instructions do seem to be a bit outdated, but if you are running this mod with the original mod's ESL version, In game you are only going to get the original mod since this update mod will only overwrite the ESP version. They have different form ids, which is why you need the ESP version.
It looks like the only thing that should be changed in this mod's installation instructions is to just omit installing the ESL versions at all. More than likely, in the past, the original mod probably didn't have archives in the esp version, which is why you would need the ESL version. Now though, the instructions should just state:
Install the Beretta M9-FS v1.0.2 (ESP) file from the Optional Files section of the original mod.
Install the FGs_Beretta_M9FS_AnimationOverhaul_SeparateESP file from the Main Files section of Fiddler's animation overhaul.
The gun shows up pink, with half of its moving parts completely missing. This happened when I spawned it in via the console, (I was testing new mods). Weapon mods also fail to show up at all. Not sure what the conflict is, I installed it as per the directions in the description. I have See Through Scopes and Tac Reload installed. My load order is that I have the Munitions and the Munitions patch near the top. Then I have Tac Reload, behind that I have the Beretta and all its corresponding mods, and behind that I have STS. Not sure what's causing the issue here. I'll try putting tac reload behind the Beretta but other than that I'm not sure how to fix this.
Hey guys, could you guys explain in greater detail how to install this properly. I had the .esl versions of the actual mod M9-FS + reanimation + TR patch working in my test game now but i cant seem to get how to get this one to work. Ive tried everything i can think of with the instructions given, but everything i load in and type help service pistol 4 in console nothing comes up. Ive tried merging and replacing both the main file and reanimation with the .esp counterparts but that just removes them from the game. I know you're supposed to "delete" the .esl file but wouldn't that just remove the mod altogether? I'm using MO2 btw.
so i noticed that the Unique version on the Prydwin was supposed to have a Brand new legendary (Deals 35% to all non-Humans) but with this mod it replaces it with the Mutant Slayer Legendary
mutant slayer pretty much does the same thing though i think the reason it was removed (like codeblackcrash often does) is it causes crashes due to poor implementation that he can't fix
is it possible to get a version of the mod without Munitions requirement? Anyway thanks for your mod, endorsed this too because i like all of your unofficial updates
no he's the author of munitions therefore all his other mods will require munitions you are free to make your own version in FO4Edit though that removes the munitions requirement I've tried to do it but ended up breaking everything

I'm missing out on so many mods because of the new game recommendation/requirement.
