   Honestly all jokes aside, I always see a vanilla so-called 'crystal' like a piece of tonsil stone that always came up with "Is that piece of thing could really freeze enemies?" in my mind. lol. The vanilla freeze ray is already good but when I upgrade it to a crystalized one, I really hate its projectile. Bigger 'balls' would make me less annoyed by it.

   combine this with the charge mechanic of the gauss rifle to create variable sized snot balls.
