Isabel still seems to be stuck with her post-quest vanilla AI, even after I have input the [CQF RecruitIsabelCruz ActivateIsabelWorkshopAI True command. Any thoughts?
Sorry for the late reply.. it's probably a mod conflict but without knowing the actual AI that controls her I can't be sure. I made a Settler Debugger earlier that can print the active AI of an NPC to the Papyrus log if you're interested but if it's really caused by a mod conflict then trying the ESP version (and placing it lower than the conflicting mod in your load order) is also an option.
Everything looks good.. if you type "SQV WorkshopPermanentActors", do you see Isabel's RefID, 'xx00097C' under PermanentActors? ('xx' is the load order prefix of the Automatron DLC, usually it's '01'). To enable the Papyrus log, you need to add a few lines to Fallout4Custom.ini. (LogCurrentAIPackage should return either '00038C0E' (the FormID of the daytime settler sandbox AI) or '00020C3F' (nighttime settler sleep AI)).
'00020C3F' is the FormID of the vanilla settler sleep AI so her settler AI is running. However, she should be in PermanentActors.. I let the settlement system handle this (recommended) but she either wasn't added to PermanentActors or somehow she got removed afterward.. What settlement did you send her to?
If you have the Settler Debugger: "CQF SettlerDebugger RemoveWNPCFromWorkshop 0100097C" removes her from the settlement completely. "CQF SettlerDebugger AddWNPCToWorkshopByID 0100097C 28 False" would assign her to the settlement whose ID is '28' (where she currently is according to RequestFullInfo). "CQF SettlerDebugger AddWNPCToWorkshopBy 0100097C 250FE False" would assign her to Sanctuary Hills ('250FE' is the FormID of the Workshop Workbench of Sanctuary Hills).
ok, yes she is showing up as a permanent actor, I just can't trade inventory/equipment with her other than as a merchant, and she is going through her whole apology spiel.
You said this mod resurects her, I assume like you said that's only if installed after she's being killed, and it doesn't resurrect her if you choose to kill her after installing this mod?
I actually got the surprise of my life yesterday, as I killed her as part of the Mechanist quest line, and looted her body, and suddenly another Isabel was up and walking around.... so I killed her and looted her as well.
(I usually have several characters on the go at once, and I normally DON'T kill her in the quest, just decided to last minute this time).
Not sure if I still have a save from before I killed her, but if I do are there any commands/stages you would like me ton check before after killing her?
Any chance at a version that makes her a companion?
No one has successfully done it yet, somehow after all these years. The closest attempt is a bugged out mess that somehow glitches piper among other things.
There is one. Depravity allows you to take her as a follower after her questline. I'm only here because when you recruit her with Depravity, it instantly removes any appearance mods on her and reverts her to vanilla.
I completed her quests and allowed her AND Sparky to live of course.. but I also installed Jenncave's 'Clean & Simplet Mechanist Lair' mod quite some time ago... sooo..
does YOUR mod here ALSO configure the Mechanist lair as a settlement ALSO? because this would be some sort of conflict then wouldn't it??
I needed a mayor for the Mechanist Lair in SS2 and it only made sense for it to be her.
*I don't know if you have already considered it but Kasumi Nakano would make for an awesome settler. She shouldn't be stuck living with her parents or with a bunch of synths in a basement for the rest of her life.
I always wanted this. it's a headcanon my character recruit the best robot builder. She improves my army and bla bla bla.
I like her, I think she's cute. unfortunately the only mod that did that was that quest mod. unfortunately the mod is too different from vanilla for my taste.

cannot change appearance with showlooksmenu command, it sucks :(

Wish there would be a mod, which allows her to be a companion and redeem herself ;)
