Heads up, version 1.02 is here, fixing the bug that prevented it from working for power armor. (It worked just fine for mining helmets and the glasses, though.)
You know... you guys can report bugs too. I don't use power armour much, because you can't really sneak in it, so I was pretty oblivious to that bug. Anyway, now it's fixed. Let there be much rejoicing.
Heads up, new version is here. I've removed the 90% damage reduction in VATS, so basically it actually makes the game actually harder, since now you can use VATS all the time, but you can't use VATS to avoid death by missile in the face any more.
I consider this version to be basically balanced enough -- again, especially considering that accuracy in VATS is lower than if you just use the iron sights -- so I moved the file to Gameplay Effects And Changes.
The old version has been repurposed as an optional cheat version.
Thanks and kudos to Luchaire for bringing the VATS damage reduction problem to my attention. That kind of valuable feedback is in short supply and much appreciated.
Well, there is not much to show in a video. It's just your AP bar going up like it's on turbo. In fact, most of the time it will just be full again when you're done with the VATS.
Really, that's all there is to it. It regens AP really really fast. If you know how AP works in the game, well, you already have a pretty good idea of what it would be like to not have to wait for it to recharge.
TL,DR version: AP regens really really fast, so the bar is full or almost full again by the time you're done with VATS. And then you can use VATS again. And again.
