Louder gun sounds changes the attenuation of wpn sounds and this mod affects other effects. Would this mod be any different than the other mod? If so, would it be compatible since they affect different values?

This Idea of changing gun sounds was to remain compatible with many mods not just base game and DLC.

Sound Category from my knowledge not many mods touch that category when making custom sounds therefore this edit will have a big impact on increasing all weapon sounds for all firearms in the game.

what the other mod did is also edit the sound descriptor that is not included in my mod that stuff control the sound specific type and sprcifics of sound and some mods might change that so i dont want to have any compatibility issues.

BBMR mods are designed to have a big impact and little of a footprint as possible to allow other mods the spotlight and BBMR to be a base support under the stage where the performance is on going.

from the looks of it both mods do the same thing however my edits have no custom files allowing it to be used with consoles also.....

Iv tested the sound many times in game and discovered that if you set the player tails too loud or leave it default then when shooting it sounds like a loud windy airsoft gun where every shot if followed by a stormy windy weather sound..........

so in my edits iv fixed the windy gun sounds and set the player tails to 0.18 allowing the crisp gun sounds to be heard clearly when firing your gun in game...

NPC tails are okay because they sound fine.
