It seems that (at least) the pre next-gen version often leads to crashes after leaving the menu and taking the next action in game. For me mostly after placing and moving objects, using material swaps.
Is Inventory > AddItem function for clothing from mods is safe to use in normal playthrough? Does this mod add items to your inventory the same way a chemistry station does? Or is there a risk of corrupting the game save file?
I use that function often on game version 163. No problems with savegames so far. You can even do material swaps with S.A.M. without workbench. The difference to chem station is that you don't need any resources. Only I noticed that using S.A.M. sometimes causes a ctd some time after use (on pre next-gen). So it's best to make a save before and after you add(ed) itmes.
Why does it cause me and my companion to enter a conversation when I use the open menu shortcut to open the menu with my companion? Is there any solution?
I use FO4 old-gen with all DLCs and this mod works well. I don't believe that using the GOTY version makes any difference. But you have to make sure that the requirements are met and match your game version. As well as the mod has to. For you this means everything for pre next-gen and this also means you need a camera mod. This can be "Photo Mode" pre next gen or "Free Fly Cam F4SE". I use even both. For CBBE do not use the ZeX skeleton.

Make sure you get the right version for your game
1. make sure u check the morph box in the bodyslide when build your body.
2. make sure u have (LookMenu) install for the body morph to show in game.
It took me 5hr to understand why it not work, hope this help people like me from the headache.
