this is pretty cool, what i have been doing recently, is opening a tab on youtube to a live 24/7 feed of oldies music within the era of the 50s through 70s. this is just many of the dozens of examples i have come across https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4rYdoZ8kow

anyway i just play them continuously and pause the music when needed as i play fallout 4, i also use an adblocker so no interruptions ever happen, i also don't have to worry about the music playing the same songs over way to many times because the variety is always changing.

not that i have anything against mods such as this, i did download cadillac jack radio mod, and that mod is some pretty good stuff, it was made with quality in mind, there is another one called atomic radio, that one is also good, but it's mostly focused on stories and some can be quite funny to listen to.

all of these things are great to pass the time in this game, what i want to see is a quality barbershop radio station, but oldies barbershop, not any of that new age barbershop stuff, i want that old sound if you understand what i mean, unfortunately i can't seem to find any of this on youtube outside of maybe a few hours of songs.

my dad was an old barbershop kind of guy, he used to do tours across the country for a hobby, i was not into that kind of music as a kid, but i have learned a little something about myself when it comes to music when i first started playing this game i was suddenly exposed to the music i would normally avoid, but something amazing started happening, i started to appreciate the music, so much so that i craved more and more and now i'm exposing myself to all kinds of oldies songs, and it's been one hell of a ride and i do not wish for it to end and want to ride this train for much longer and learn more songs.

my dad was surprised when i was singing along with that paper dolly song lol, because i know it word for word, then i showed him all the songs i know thanks to this game exposing me to the magic of these songs and the atmosphere they bring.

anyway, sorry for this crazy long comment, i get carried away and before i know it, i have made this giant monstrosity comment.

oh ok. well anyway i'm still playing this game and still using music from youtube, it's provided hours and hours of music that is all new to me, but is all great, but i do still wish there were more barbershop music being played in the game, i know the music exists and there are thousands of songs that exist in that genre, i just can't find enough of them on youtube that exist.

my dad said that he would allow me to use his collection, but i will have to wait until he moves to get access to that music.

so until then, i will listen to whatever i can get my hands on.

this should be a big enough list of songs for my apetite lol.
now it's not exactly barbershop quortet stuff i was looking for, but it's a good set of good songs of the era, i also have been listening to a lot of old doo wap stuff from this list of songs.

I'm also having the bug of the radio just stop playing. Is there a console command to restart it?

Great radio mod. Plenty of good songs to listen to that fit the vibe of the game and even brings a bit of nostalgia for the older games. Sadly however, I seem to be having the same issue as one of the earlier comments. The radio station went completely silent after a while, and even after re-installing it, it doesn't seem to work.

I've tried both the 're-install' via Vortex. Plus fully removing it and re-downloading it. Sadly, seems to just be broken and completely silent. I do have some other radio-mods installed. But they shouldn't be interfering with it as far as I know. Hopefully a fix can be made, as I do know of (Though not by name) some other mods where the stations have gone silent. As far as I remember, I think they had a 'quest start/stop' console command to fix them. I dunno how to look at stuff like that myself, but hopefully that's something that can be found for a fix.

Hello, same thing happens to me : the radio is broken and saddly ROBCO doesn't want to take it in warranty !!! :)

I tried everything i can do : re-downloading it, manually installed, checking conflicts, the only clue i have is that the radio is running on a new game when built straight to Sanctuary but after a while it's silent even on the pipboy... (I don't have any other radio mod)
If somebody have a fix or a solution you're welcome.

Again it's a Great radio mod and thank you MakeURage1 for making it.

Привет! Нравится подборка песен, но мод время от времени перестает работать прямо во время игры, приходится его полностью сносить и устанавливать заново (

Hey, thanks for letting me know. Honestly, I have zero clue why this would be happening. Have you tried reinstalling the mod?

Why does your mod conflict with Baka Framework ?? Will that be an issue??

Never heard of that mod, but just took a quick look, and I can't see any reason why it'd conflict. They don't touch any of the same systems, so far as I'm aware. How is it conflicting?

This seems to be a radio and not an audio replacer.   Shouldn't it be in the Radio category?    You may get more downloads there.

I'll be honest, I was sleepy when I uploaded this, and just didn't notice what I'd done there. Thanks for the tip!

I'm getting this only because the image you chose is from the original Fallout and I was there in 1998 !
    Good radio, too.
