I won't be uploading another version but you can modify it in game like this:
Look at her, press the tilda key to open the console command window, click on their face to get their id (pipers is 00002f1f so it'll look something like that), and then type “slm 00002f1f” but replace with heather's id, and press enter, it will let you customize their appearance like you can when you create your character. But it does not work on all npcs and companions
i have not abandoned my mods, but i don’t have the game installed currently so i haven’t tested it on the next gen update. are you having trouble with it?
Reinstall the hair mod and make sure to include any extra options or backwards compatibility in the fomod like you did for eyes of beauty. Then the usual stuff like make sure these mods are all enabled and you don’t have something overwriting them in the load order (conflicts list).
Beyond that I’m not sure, there isn’t much that can go wrong in these types of mods so just be sure you have the newest versions
I have the dependencies..... but it doesnt work for me... and NMM says I am missing something, I think because the Eyes of Beauty is named differently here than the actual mod name, maybe?
My Heather, is a week or two old... as I am only new here since about the last week or two, coming over from SkyrimSE Nexus. She is up to date, my Eyes of Beauty is the latest version, everything is the newest, unless there's been major updates for the dependencies released in the last fortnight.
But it just wont work, says I am mission The Eyes of Beauty in NMM. I am NOT, but I think there is a naming issue, as it says I am missing... TheEyesOfBeauty... and I am... but I have The Eyes of Beauty.
hm the eyes of beauty file i used was the author's pick file, so check if you're using that one or the all-in-one version which is said to contain all the author's picks.
All in One is the one I use... I have that, I have Apachii KS hairdos, I have Heather, but I no has pretty Heather from this mod... but I have this mod too.... I am lost.
Yeah, i'm asking what exactly the error says. in vortex there would be some notifications up in the top right (looks like a bell) but you're using something else so not sure where to get more info but if we get the specific error maybe we can figure it out what you're missing or if there is a conflict.
The Eyes of Beauty has been updated, and the file naming changed, and this mod relies on old obsolete files.
In the latest TEOBB FOMOD, there is a an option to install a backwards compatibility dummy patch, for the 'Experimental' TheEyesOfBeauty file which no longer exists, but I had downloaded The Eyes Of Beauty BEFORE I ever found this, though only a month gone, so I had the latest TEOB, technically T E O B, had already installed it via the FOMOD, and did not choose that dummy patch, because I did not need it.... I just reinstalled all my mods today after the mod which adds the three Witcher 3 chicks as presets, Collection of Presets for the Girls or whatever it is called.... nuked my game and burn up all my faces (should have read the comments, and might have saved myself some pain).... and so when I redid my loadout, I get to The Eyes Of Beauty, and see an option in the FOMOD which explains precisely what has gone wrong.
You probably need to note that somewhere, or update this mod to not need that patch, and use the most current version of The Eyes Of Beauty
No worries. Happens often, a dependency for a mod, will update, change, and no longer be compatible with that mod, or at least, how that mod initially used the dependency mod. Usually, though, it happens early on when both are new. Rarer that a mod suddenly gets an update a year, or three, or more later, which then changes things for any mod made with it as a dependency.
I could be wrong even... but I do not think I am, I think this is why it did not work.... because I have another follower which had the same issue, at least the makeover for them did, and now, she works with the makeover mod looks, after I activated that dummy script in the Eyes of Beauty FOMOD, so I am assuming that was the issue, and will be for any mods which rely on the old version of the Eyes of Beauty, before naming paths changed as it was all merged in to one.
There was a change when it was last updated, which renamed files, and your mod was looking for the old file name, apparently, and when I used the FOMOD, I initially did not install the dummy file patch to rectify this TEOB side of things. I have now.
