    Are you actually planning to create a mod like this, but where the "Radium Rifle" can be restored to the original Generic Radium Rifle? Modifying back the reciever the barrel etc.

    xCADAVVER's weapon mod is waaay too much for me, and the tactical weapon mods are not really lore friendly for my taste.

      I'm not sure if radium rifle can be turned into a regular one on that mod but afaik they share some customization

    for some reason the add-on mod causing the crafting issue where any upgrade i want to apply on the item resulting the wrong upgrade

    It's kinda funny how I was looking at Cadavver's Volk mod a few minutes ago and thinking to myself "if only this was a proper replacement for the Radium Rifle as well", and decided to not include it due to that. When I saw this mod while browsing your files, I facepalmed and immediately went to check if it was for their version and worked as I expected. 
    Fantastic work, these kinds of mods help so much with keeping the game cohesive and functional - having a single weapon that converts into the CoA version seamlessly is so much better than having two separate, often noticeably different, versions of the weapon lying around.

    The Replacer isn't working for me. Enemies still spawn with the vanilla radium rifle.

      Check your load order.
      Also the radium rifles that have already spawned in the game will not change, you need to install at the start of the game or try waiting until cell reset.

    Could you add the "radium sound" the radium rifle had? Its strange that it just plays a normal shooting sound. Awesome MOD btw, thanks!

    Sorry to ask, but I want to double check. If I do NOT want the Volkssturmgewehr to replace the radium rifle. I can't use this add-on? I want the use the standalone version of the Volkssturmgewehr. Thanks!

    I'm so glad this mod released. because radium rifle is an irreplaceable weapon. i hope you also consider barrel and magazine!

      I've actually considered the barrels, but due to the new barrels in the Volkssturmgewehr mod, it is very difficult to fit the dish to the barrels correctly, although I might come to revisit this someday. Perhaps redoing it as a muzzle instead of barrel.

      The drum magazine would be difficult too, and not just the modelling part - I also need to think how to make the extra attachments into the leveled list, and so on.

      The dish is just updated in version 3.0, as a muzzle attachment though (not barrel).

      I was thinking about it initially but didn't put that on because I didn't know what's the good way for doing it. I might come to revisit it someday though when I learned more about weapon modding.

    So if I got, say the Radium Rifle replacer version of the Volkssturmgewehr this would allow the Children of Atom to spawn more regularly with a Radiume'd version of the weapon?

      Don't download the replacer, it'll conflict with the new spawn template of this one and cause the radium-ed version to not spawn. (Just a generic Volkssturmgewehr)

      My Radium Rifle add-on already replace the radium rifle and made them correctly spawn as radium rifle

      Right, so from Volkksturmgewehr I download the main, the hotfix, the LL Patch and scopes patch, and this? (I don't use tactical reloads.)

      LL will add Volkssturmgewehr (non radium version) to gunners, depends if you want that or not. But yes for main, hotfix and scope.

      I'd say yes; the Volkssturmgewehr is something I can see several people using since it's basically an easy-to-produce weapon. Not the best, but in a world like Fallout it's better to have some form of gun even if it's crappy. I'd honestly take a Volk over those pipe guns. *shudder*
