About this mod
This mod adds a few new receivers for the 10mm pistol so it is more useful for higher level characters.
- Permissions and credits
I like the 10mm pistol - it is accurate, does not have much recoil, and it has a fairly rapid fire rate. The only problem - it is pretty much a beginner level weapon that is not powerful enough for players to continue using at higher levels of play. The solution: add some more powerful receivers that can be installed by a character with sufficient perks invested in Gun Nut. Pistols with these higher level receivers will also start to appear in the game world, at about the same time the player's character qualifies for the perks required to make them.
The new receivers are:
.45 semi-auto (gun nut 3)
.45 advanced and .45 automatic (gun nut 4)
We also added a new .44 receiver for the Deliverer legendary pistol, which can be installed by a player who has Gun Nut 4. Now Tommy Whisper's hand cannon really packs a punch!
Some of my high level characters (level 70+) still use various legendary 10mm pistols fitted with the advanced .45 receiver, and I find it to be powerful enough at this "end game" level of play. My favorite is the "Deadeye" legendary - it is a deadly stealth weapon.
