The main menu (and other menus) are offset to the right! Right click on "Fallout4.exe > Properties > Compatibility > Change high DPI settings". Then under "High DPI scaling override" check "Override high DPI scaling behavior". Scaling performed by:' and choose "Application".
The background shadows are way off! Then you've probably forgotten to include this mod in the plugins.txt file, like mentioned in the installation guide.
My resolution isn't correct! Please set your correct resolution in the official Fallout 4 launcher. There is a button to open the Options.
I'm having crashes when starting Fallout 4! You could try to test this solution from the Steam forums.
The FOMOD installer doesn't start and nothing is installed! Working as intented. Please either install the next-gen patch of Bethesda or install the pre-gen version of this mod.
ENB User If you are using ENB, make sure that you disable the letterbox option, otherwise you will have black borders.
The Sim Settlements 2 HUD elements are displaced! Ingame you can change the positions of all HUD elements via MCM settings of SS2. You just have to map the HUD moving keys and use them to rearrange the HUD elements.
The new horizon HUD icons are displaced! Ingame, go to your "Command Table > Global Options > HUD Addon Options" and there you can move every HUD icon permanently.
This mod triggers the "Mods enabled" warning! If you want to use this mod but don't want to trigger the warning then you can do this with the following two steps: 1. Copy the content of "Fallout 4\Data\Aigni_UltraWide.ini" to the correct categories in your Fallout4Custom.ini file. 2. Deactivate "Aigni_UltraWide.esp" or remove it from plugins.txt.
Hi, Aignistar. I'm having trouble with the game crashing about 1 minute after loading my save file. I can play the game just fine and its in the correct resolution (at least it appears to be) I've discovered the crashing is linked to movement. If I walk away from the save location the game eventually crashes (usually about 1 minute after beginning to move. I've noticed one technical issue and I've tried multiple ways to solve it. When I check the resolution through the launcher for Fallout 4 it doesn't show the correct resolution and after visiting this menu it changes the game resolution to whatever the launcher was just set to and also changes the .ini file to those settings as well. I've tried the "crashes while launching" fixes and none of that helps either. The only way to fix the resolution after visiting the launcher is to change the .ini files again but then the game still crashes. I've installed the mod via MO2. This is also how I change the .ini files. I've also edited the plugin.txt like the instructions ask. I apologize if I am doing something obviously wrong.
Please remove any mod (this one, too) and test if the game still crashes. Then add your mods back in (one after another) until it crashes again. Then you know which mod causes your crash. If this mod is the reason then you chose a wrong option while installing this mod, for example because you have a mod that needs some files and is overwritten by this one.
More general there is a crash problem with Fallout 4 related to "Weapon Debris". Try to uncheck this option in the launcher or use this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/48078
I actually don't have any other mods installed. This is the only one. I only downloaded this so I could play without having to look at the game in a tiny window in the upper left corner of my monitor. I tried something odd though and it seems to work although I don't know why. I was under the impression that the only way the mod does its mojo is when you launch the game through MO2, something to do with it being a separate instance from the base game. Every time I try to launch the game this way it crashes , I have no explanation for it it just does. So this morning I tried to launch the game the old way (the base game) just to see if that crashes now too, It doesn't... but the game also fits the screen now? I can play the game without crashing and full widescreen without launching through MO2. I'm happy that it works properly, but I'm terribly confused as to why. Also thank you for the weapon debris tip, I'll turn that off to see if it helps with the jittering the game does every once in a while.
I was trying out the ultrawide mod but the power armor hud does not go 0% transparency. Is there a fix for this or is there a value I can edit manually to change the power armor opacity or transparency.
In the next gen version you have to choose the correct transparency option while installing this mod. There is no value available, just files that must be replaced. You can do it manually though: Unzip the downloaded file and navigate to "Options" and look for "PA_Centered" and "PA_Wide" Choose one of both and in the folder choose colored or default, depends on the color that you chose while installing. Finally choose one of the transparency options and copy the files inside the transparency folder (Meshes, ...) to Fallout 4\Data.
I'm trying to get Fallout 4 running on a new computer and monitor with a 21:9 aspect ratio, and 3440 x 1440 resolution. I've downgraded fallout 4, installed F4SE, and MO2+BethINI and used BethINI to set my resolution to 3440 x 1440, fullscreen. I also installed https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/65677?tab=description However, when I start the game it looks like this https://imgur.com/a/YdmkHaw, I'm not sure what to do at this point, but I don't consider the game playable right now. Is there anything I'm missing? Link to copy of my Fallout 4 Prefs.ini https://pastebin.com/e2u2vzP4
Works for me w/ no patching. Using v1.1 CRP with FallUI & HudFramework enabled. Can't confirm the radiation works on the actual pip boy itself though TacticalTablet HP works 100%
Excuse me if the fix is listed somewhere but is there anyway to get Mod Configuration Menu @21x9? Using Darker Nights - gives an obnoxious boarder in the afternoons.
I've been playing for months with the game displayed in the upper left my 3440x1440 monitor. I tried this mod, tweaking my Fallout4prefs.ini, launching from steam and setting options to the proper resolution, and so on. Ultimately, it turned out that the HighFPSPhysicsFix.ini had the following uncommented setting:
BorderlessUpscale=false
Switching that to "true" fixed everything. I'm on a rebuild so I don't have this mod installed again yet, but for some of you who are still having issues, the extra ini edit might be a solution.
Have been trying to get the mod to work over and over and without changing any of my methods it suddenly starts working without explanation. How frustrating, at least I can use it now.
So what do I do if I am using both Immersive HUD and FallUI? Do I have to just pick one of them if I wanna use this mod? There is no option for compatibility patches for both of em when installing this mod.
Love the mod but it kills looks menu. When I start a new game, it gets stuck on the white screen before your character wipes it off. It doesn't freeze, it just never loads. I have version 3.4 Default size of this mod and LooksMenu v1-7-0-1 21-9. Anybody know of a way to fix it?

Also if you have both iHUD and FallUI HUD, you should install the FallUI Hud in fomod.

That usually works for me.
