Same issue here. No difference at all. Took screenshots with the exact same weather, game time, etc. and there's 0 difference. Tried to exit the character creation too, tried both, artificial and natural lighting, tried to disable and re-enable the HiPoly Faces etc. from the MCM, but no luck.
As far as I can tell from the examples, the introduction was successful because the border of the nose is thinner. This mod is only to improve the shadows, not to play with the shape at all. I think you can't tell the difference unless you compare it with a place where the face is strongly shadowed.
Thanks for your reply. What I mean is the seam at the neck, I open up the modconfig menu and choose the Seamless HP Player from HPH, before I open the looksmenu menu and choose again the neckseam fix. But it doesn't work. When I deaktivate your mod the seam is gone. Sorry, english is not my native language. I hope you understand what I mean.
I really liked this mode, but like the person who uploaded this photo, the character I created also had a clear border between the neck and torso, so the color below the body was different from the color above the body. In particular, I couldn't see a big difference in characters with light skin, but it was noticeable in characters with dark skin. Is it possible to fix it?
What tool did you use to edit the normals/how did you do it? I'd love to use this mod, but I have a custom head mesh, so I'd need to redo the normals myself.
I think you should mention that this is females only. I only noticed it after checking the content of the mod in MO2. Would have saved me the time if it was mentioned in the title or description.
I saw other mods modifying head mesh like Female Neck Tweaks and Refined Male Head Mesh did changes to the facebones.tri file and your mod didn't. Does it mean aligning facebones to basehead.nif isn't necessary?
This mod does not edit vertices. Only the normals are modified. There is no need to edit facebones.tri since the normals of the mesh seem to refer only to the nif file.

I endorsed it anyway, cause of your work to make the faces look better.

Check out Queenieangel images, you will spot the big difference on her neck.
