There are a lot of good things in this mod but I wish that, like with your other 2 CC weapon mods, there was a version without the ammo mod requirement. Based on the change logs that may be as easy as just making the archived 1.0 version available for download. I looked around with xedit but I don't have enough skill with it to confidently remove all the munitions references.
EDIT: Okay, I knuckled down and after testing don't believe I've made any mistakes. Here's my edit of the .esp for anyone who may find it useful, I'll remove this link if codeblackcrash requests it (apologies in advance if so): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rDPmtestf9IQyL06-yPia4KphAEDqMIt/view?usp=sharing
Add this to the modding platform of your choice and override the original esp to see the changes. I also looked at some other things people have mentioned here (the weapon skins keyword, the sighting issue), but afaict those are not issues on my end (the keyword isn't relevant to this CC item as it can't use other CC skins without further work), so I made no changes. I wouldn't know how to deal with the other issue if it pops up, where the magazine doesn't show up on the weapon when carried by an npc, so hopefully that's avoidable as well.
It would be nice if there were a version of this that didn't require Munitions or include the caliber swap to .223. This isn't intended to be snide in any way, but it's a little vexxing to look up an "update" or fixer mod just to find it's not actually a fix mod, it's a caliber swap mod requiring you to download an entire mod framework too. You might want to adjust the title of the mod itself to reflect that it's more than just fixes.
Hey there, so since this thing released in the first place the magazines of this weapons are not visible if equipped on NPS's/Companions ,at least for me. I would really appreciate it if u could take a look into this. Big thanks for the time and work !
In my game with a 90 FOV the iron/glow sights on the original mod are miss-aligned. The x-axis is off. Causing the right sight to appear on the far-left of the rear sight.
If anyone else has the same problem this is how I fixed it.
I used the In-Game Sight Alignment tool to get the correction settings. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/46029. Note that this just gives you the settings it's not a fix. You have to take the settings and put them in the correct place using XEDIT or Creation Kit.
Changing the ZoomDataCameraOffsetX to -0.05 fixed it in my game. I did this for both the Glow Sights and the Standard Sights. I put the edit directly into this mod's override esp.
There is one more small problem with this weapon, which caught my eye only now and it is present in the original modification. When I aim and at the same time move, after releasing the right mouse button, the character gets a momentary acceleration, something like a sprint. Could you check if this is also the case for you?
Thats because of the legendary modification increases movement speed by 75% while aiming, it must linger for a short time after you lower aim and still applies to base movement speed.
