Amazing mod, if possible would love a version with MCM sliders for different item categories, I like the bullet casings but bottles and other items are a bit too loud for my taste. Maybe a version with just bullet casings even! Also I would like to ask, is this safe to uninstall mid-playthrough?

Really great mod, any chance of it being updated on console? Last update was November 2022 and I see there were some updates since then, specifically the body part sounds. Would love to get 1.24 on xbox!

Love this mod! Thank you for sharing your hard work with the community. I have an odd issue I've been trying to solve with shotgun shells, for some reason they sound like brass casings hitting the floor instead of the plastic sound. I checked for conflicts in Xedit (didn't find any) and also loaded it last in my load order to no avail. Has anybody else experienced this?

I've been rebuilding my FO4 build so I've stopped working on my mods in the last days, as soon as I'm back online I'll give a retouch to all of them, sorry for the absence

      @InMetroflex

I'm having the same issues and I narrowed it down to the mod, "Armament".  I can't find anything in the plugin within FO4EDIT that shows any changes/conflicts regarding casing and/or audio files.  If I find a solution, I'll let you know.

      TL:DR
Having the same issues as you.
      It's not this mod.
Attempted to troubleshoot in several different ways with no fix.

I use both and have no issues.  Just remember to check for conflicts between the two mods in FO4EDIT.

Both main files have different names. Do they do different things, or is the first one not supposed to be named bullet impact overhaul?

Which version has no sounds turned down or optimized for the game's bad physics? Because the game has AMAZING realistic physics if using the ragdoll mod, no death anims, and ragdoll collision, and now that I'm using all of those, the vanilla sounds are just...trash.

from 1.2.4 on the body physics have been lowered significantly, try 1.2.3 if you want those sounds back, same mod with just 1 little difference

O crap I'm using 1.2.2, and no please disregard...my HORRIBLY worded comment. Like omg wow, I gotta stop rushing these comments.

What I meant to say was, I like the body sounds. I like them loud. I wanted to hear bones breaking when bodies hit the ground, but they're feathers.... lol. That's why I downloaded this mod, and it fixed that, but now EVERYTHING (pots, pans, all objects in the game) are even louder than gunshots! And I have made all my guns super loud with Audacity, up to a 20 increase in max decibels but now a nuka-cola bottle is STILL almost as loud as an artillery strike! lol I didn't think this mod would go quite that HARD! lol But thank you, you're doing great work, and I'm sure I can take some time off to work the kinks out myself someday. But omg, I would worship your mod page, if I could get a JUST body version.

O and the wolf/dog/hound tails sound like metal objects. Just their tails. Kinda weird. lol I mean, if it's a vanilla bug I won't be surprised. But anyways, Ima try to figure out how to only get the corpse sound effects. Because yo...I really miss half-life (except having to play as a dude) because when them combine soldiers hit the ground from up high...wow...that was a scary level of bone-shattering sfx.

lol thank you for the comment, but I think there might be something screwed with your mod setup regarding the sounds of objects, maybe you raised more than just gunshots through audacity? the sound is very calibrated to not exceed vanilla too much, just bring it to life and give it certain effects and especially directionality
as for the body sounds, well.. now you understand why I made a separate version to keep them lower, bethesda did shoddy work on that, bodies just don't sound right by themselves and when you amplify the volume you can hear how the physics system just interacts badly with higher body impact volumes

lol no worries. It's not so bad thru my headphones but thru 400 watts, omg iz wild. lol. But iz otay, I'm sure it won't be too hard for me to find a way to isolate this to just body sounds.

if I remember correctly, check the FXBodyMediumGrass records or stuff like this, or download the lowered body sounds verion and compare the differences with the regular one, you'll find them in no time

Some records' formIDs are not in the ESL ID range (800~FFF). Is it on purpose?

These are all vanilla records left untouched, it should be fine xEdit doesn't report any errors or anything

Sorry my bad. I always thought ESL ID range was 800~FFF according to older Creation Kit Wiki post. It turns out that rule only applies to Skyrim and FO4 ESL can use ID 0~7FF with no problem. Thank you.
