You can recruit Dixie by either enslaving her or charming her by presenting her a prisoner and a souvenir. Optionally, a unique character named Frida is also recruitable during the quest.

About this mod:
It lets you to recruit Dixie from Nuka-World. During Dixie's recruitment quest, a captured scavenger named Frida is also recruitable.
There are two ways to recruit Dixie. Practically, the recruitment quest has two "quest styles" depending on your playthrough:
1. Charm Dixie: if you're not hostile to the Raiders, you can recruit Dixie by presenting her a prisoner and a souvenir. About the prisoner: the quest points you to his location. He is a hostile Gunner (Hank) who captured a scavenger (Frida). They can be found at the Grandchester Mystery Mansion. Once you defeat the Gunner, he'll fall into downed state (he doesn't get up). After this, if you'd like to, you can free and recruit Frida. About the souvenir: once Hank is defeated, pick up the Empty Holotape (it's near the Toolbox), then travel to Dixie. Ask her to follow you, then take her to the prisoner (she'll be a temporary follower). After you and Dixie arrive, she becomes excited and starts preparing her knife. Start the recording on the Empty Holotape. Once Dixie finishes cleaning and sharpening her knife, she approaches the prisoner and kills him. Stop the recording and give the holotape to Dixie as souvenir. This will make her quite happy. In the final dialogue, you can convince her to join one of your settlements.
2. Enslave Dixie: if you're already hostile or become hostile to the Raiders, you can recruit Dixie by enslaving her. A "Collar Dixie" objective will point you to her location. She and a captured scavenger (Frida), can be found at the Grandchester Mystery Mansion. Once you defeat Dixie, you can optionally free and recruit Frida. While Dixie's is in downed state (she doesn't get up), you can slap a Shock Collar on her. Doing so will add a "Dixie's Collar Trigger" to your inventory (allows you to activate her Shock Collar). After she's been collared, you can send her to a settlement. Of course the collar can be taken from her inventory later. If you'd like to activate her collar, before doing so, make sure to stand back (the collar shocks its wearer but it also exploades).
