Really cool mod but the heal after a kill seems inconsistent for me most of the time when i kill someone during rage it doesnt heal for some reason :/ is this normal for everyone else?
Love this but the change to 25% is causing it to always trigger when maintaining 25% health for unyielding gear, Can you also show us how to edit the % trigger rate, would love to set it at 24%? Thank you
This mod would be absolutely perfect if it changed the damage resistance to a percentage, rather than a flat DR boost. 20-40 DR may as well not even be there at all, especially at higher levels or more difficult modded versions of the game.
Vanilla Fo3 for example had a 50% DR boost (but that's a tad too high), and I think a % DR would suit it a lot better if you're giving it such a long cooldown, as well. Another suggestion would be shorter and longer cooldowns options maybe, like 5 and 15 min. Particularly with mods like deadly commonweath, where there's just so many enemies that once every 10 min is too long to wait.
Heck you could even base the amount of DR %, per rank, on the cooldown chosen when installed. Like 5 min CD has lower like 10-20-30% (or even 5-15-25 since 5 min is so quick), and 15 has 25-35-45 or 30-40-50%, whereas 10 min sits right at 20-30-40%. Could be neat.
Unfortunately I have no idea how to do any of this myself, or use FO4edit =/ I downloaded it and it and the most basic stuff may as well be rocket science to me, couldn't even figure out how to open mods through it to edit them... lol
Otherwise I really like the ideas and overall changes in this mod, nerd rage definitely needed it since it's such a fun perk on it's own, but definitely needed some improvement.
I added to the files an alternative version that gives you a % damage reductions instead of flat damage resistance, and it also increases movement speed and reload speed by 20% during the effect
Also i added an image that briefly shows you what to change in FO4edit if you wish to tweak the cooldown!
OMG You're the MAN! I didn't even see this til now but I'm so glad that I did. Hadn't played for a few months but now that I am again I came back to revisiting which Nerd Rage mod I wanted to use the most, and somehow found my way back here.
Thank you so much for doing this! I don't think you even realize how much this has helped me bro. Definitely endorsing and telling my friends to as well LOL
Neat idea Freddy, though I'd be tempted to go even higher and have it kick in at 30%, or even 35% (though guess I could tweak it in FO4Edit).
Btw, how come the woke brigade haven't been triggered by Nerd Rage like they have with Idiot Savant? I'm a nerd and can barely look at the perk chart without feeling stigmatised by this very outdated stereotype! Indeed I find myself literally bursting with rage just like in the, er, pic..
