I would like to ask though, any chance of a version in the future compiled against F4VRSE and its version of Address Library? AFAIK this mod should work as well as it does on flat were it to be ported, as guns still go through their normal reload animations and processes in the VR version. There's a lot of staple F4SE mods that just don't work on VR due to mismatch of F4SE/Address Library or just plain game version mismatches and that's incredibly sad.
And that isn't a good thing. Throwing away your only lifeline to using your weapon in a post-apocalyptic world would be insanity. It's why I gravitate to using mostly hand loaded weapons now - because seeing that animation constantly destroys immersion. I'd rather see the Deagle animation, where you have the expended one in your hand as you reload - at least that gives the semblance of sanity - i.e. you put in your pocket after reloading.
Ideally the next step for this framework would be spawning the mag as an activator that contains the ammo that was in the mag (minus 1) when it was ejected, with the expectation you would return to pick it up later.
yeah it'll get to close to vanilla stalker but not modded anomaly, can literally repack mags with rounds, and replace/maintain certain parts on armors and weapons, inspect gun to check ammo(some gun animations you will actually check the mag/chamber),gun will tilt up or down if standing to close to objects, list goes on
Hello I'm having trouble making a patch for the American 180 [https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/60000]. Only the base of the pan magazine is showing and it is laying in it's thin side. Looking at the pan magazine .nif I see that it is made of multiple parts because it moves. I used the patcher provided. Thanks.
Now if only it could also be made to spit the mag out as an activator that gives you back whatever ammo was in the mag if you reloaded before empty.Then we've got MAXIMUM tacticool going and very tight pants.
