    It took awhile to track this down, but this mod is screwing up the mirelurk/nukalurk hatchling/spawn textures in my game. Looking at the formIDs for all 3 in FO4edit, they are mirelurk faction, but radroach race.

    They get much better when dead, but still not quite right. With this mod disabled, they are fine. Any idea how this could be patched? I much prefer Garys over radroaches, but waist-high mirelurk spawn are totally freaking me out, man.

    Edit: should this be submitted as a bug?

    Got jumped by one of those giant radroaches, noped out of my game, and downloaded this. Thank you Gary much for this blessing.
    Does this also cover the roaches in the DLCs?

      It should cover most radroaches, there may be some stragglers left in far harbor or automatron if they use a different template. This mod works by replacing the radroach templates, so I doubt there are any left, unless they're like quest specific.

    Checking for potential bugs Garys...

    This requires the unsupported/deprecated settler Gary mod, not the remastered Gary companion mod, so the required BA2 filenames match? That's Gary, but can we have all these Gary mods, all the time? Need more Gary. Thank you. Gary.

      Technically you can rename the mod, that should solve the conflict :)

      To be perfectly Gary clear, RENAME "Gary_Companion - Main.BA2" (512.3 kB) from the newer Gary companion mod --> TO --> "Gary - Main.BA2" (1.4 MB) from the older Gary settler mod? Will that not break companion Gary or all the Garys? We're 8 months into modding any game ever over here and this the only one so far, please be gentle.

      Apologies for the confusion, but ideally replacing RadRoaches and  having Gary as a companion and not just a settler would be... after typing that out, I'll just settle for whatever replaces radroaches.

      8 or 9 months real time = ? hundred hours playing = 3 full runs through the game and DLC completed = 20+ failed or broken attempts ruined from user error from *bad mods/conflicting mods/removing or adding mods mid game/script overload/object overload/ENB malarkey, AAF malarky, AWKCR malarky (won't try those again)/trying downgraded new version/getting GOG v.163*.     So I'm assuming that the Gary Framework could work for this or do I- never mind, it installed and it needs the original Gary mod to use this replacer. Hope to see an update.

    I absolutely have to try this.  After 5 years of playing this game those farkers STILL gross me out to no end.  I can't believe more people haven't downloaded this, I know there are a lot of us with roach phobias!

    EDIT:  Poor Gary... apparently he was badly mutated as he tried to enter my game world.




    hehe it's just a load order thing, I forgot to check before launching the game.  I had one of these come at me and it scared the bejesus outta me.  I'm playing Whispering Chills, which is creepy enough, mkay?  :D
