MAYBE OVER THE LAST 90 YEARS THEY WERE TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO USE A TOOTHPICK AS A WEAPON AND JUST SETTLED WITH A GUN THEY FOUND. LOL I HOPE STARFIELD DOESNT LACK LIKE THIS. THANKS MAN. IM AN END USER/TESTER
I downloaded the mod and when I use the resurrect command on the minutemen I noticed that the modded guns are invisible on some minutemen and others it's normal. The only mods I have that effect the minutemen are we are the minutemen, military minutemen and patches for both. Any idea what the issue is?
I'm having an issue with Minutemen, Nuka World, Railroad, and Gunner weapons packs where if I enabled any one (or all) of them the game crashes on the main menu like I have a missing master. Raider, BOS, and Roosevelt seem to work just fine. Any ideas? I'm rather stumped. I have all prereqs, including all the right-handed animations.
EDIT: I was able to figure it out thanks to Buffout. Basically I ran into the ba2 limit (which I had never heard of before) and your weapons packs pushed my install over the edge. Not your fault whatsoever!
Looking at the mod again after seeing it's initial release. Doing my usual search for Minutemen mods, and come across this for what must be the third time, with a new thumbnail. What turned me away the first time was the beginner's textures. And while they still don't look the best they can be, gotta say, they've certainly improved since!
Edit: Trying it out, small bug with the Break-Action Laser. With the Standard Sights, have not tested the other sights, the sight is connected to the barrel rather than the body- making it float in midair.
I agree with this sentiment and also appreciate the hard work. The weapons packs you have created are tempting but the turn off is the blocky designs. The minutemen pistol looks pretty good as does the gunners pistol too. The revolver rifle and carbine along with the custom sight is sleek. I love the idea of faction weapons.
hey bud. It's more the alignment, the stocks are visibly invasive when I look at the brotherhood pack and the gunner pack the rifles and mg i'm sure your aware intrude on the metals/reciever. I would expect the brotherhood to have refined weapons but I understand the effort it takes. I think rounded barrels look nicer but perhaps your designs are more practical considering the setting. I also know that squared is a thing in real life so I should not be too critical lol. Fallout 4 is ugly so screenshots don't do your weapons any justice. As I said the pistols look practical and eye candy too. You chose to make the pistols in the packs sleek but everything else mostly looks like the wood metal wasn't shaped in comparrison, inconstistant so to speak. To finalize lol textures and Smoothing of meshes dare I say could use some tuning. Love the concept and the effort!
You'd think they'd have a decent chain of command too. They're not soldiers. Their downfall shows it. They're down to 1 active man at the start, how good could they really have been?
Their based off the US continental army, so they were a mix between military and militia, while their chain of command obviously wasen’t stable or there was no contingency plan on the event of the generals death the chain of command was still there, and since theyve had support of the commonwealth since 2180 Id argue they had a decent structure at the time
It helps to understand their history. At one time they attempted to set up a Provisional Government, so you know they had a defined leadership structure. This is where their downfall was sewn though, because the military can't also be the Government. That top position holds a ton of power, and it is unchecked by any Government. Lose a stable leader, expect in-fighting to ensue to acquire that position of power. The Minutemen were essentially their own worst enemy at that point, and all the Gunners did was finish the job for them.
No idea, never screwed around with horizon, the mod itself is simple so it shouldn’t break anything, but id go with the gut feeling and avoid it for now
