I fixed it so Deezer won't die while scrolling through the size choices. Buddy and Deezer are patched to work fine now, if you have their respective mods.
Any chance for a slightly even smaller size that makes a bot with sentry legs small enough to fit through doors? Would absolutely love to have a mini sentry companion that can actually follow me through buildings
Edit: Nevermind, did some testing and even if you make a bot 0.4 size it still wont go through doorways with sentry legs. Seems like the sentry legs add some sort of hitbox that doesn't scale with the bot itself. Wish that could be changed, but I have no clue if it can be
I need to test vs CDante's "Goodfeels" in his "Moddable Robot Settlers Compilation" mod. I didn't think of it because I just use the Goodfeels voice from another mod on a newly constructed bot (more useful than bothering to resurrect the old Goodfeels). It appears that the hit boxes scale with the bot. I noticed that a 1.25 "Drinkin Buddy" had to stop because he could NOT fit under a carport. For this reason, I don't recommend large bots indoors or underground. Small sentry bots still can't get through doors, sadly.
There is a way to make the scale it's own setting in the Robot Workbench, just look at the Mechout4 23rd Century Combat mod and you can see that the person who made it has a separate setting for adjusting the scale. It is pretty handy having that and being able to use the Automatron Special Defense Assembly (ASDA) Module, both at the same time. Just an idea, if you want to check it out. :)
Experimenting with doing it dynamically. Handy's are less noticeable when scaled. They don't have that vantage point 90º trace angle to the ground that helps establish their distance visually (as well as their shadow easily establishing their position), like legged bots do. WEIRD FACT. Small handy bots travel slower. Really. The small legged bots have the same step speed, but shorter legs. For this reason their overall walking speed is slower. This is why I bump it up 20% for them. But seeing the hover bots going slower kinda breaks my brain. I know why it's like that, but it's still weird to me.
This is exactly that. I'll see about porting this for console users. (I didn't realize that this was available as a command. Glad I didn't know, or I wouldn't have futzed to learn to make a mod for it. Heh.)

I have two questions :

Otherwise, very cool idea.
Sorry, couldn't resist.
joking aside, this is looking interesting.. any other functionality in planning?
