Neat idea. But just to comment on pipe weapons: I read tons of dismissive comments like yours about pipe weapons, but they exist for four big reasons. Firstly, there's plenty of them (and their ammo), and they're light, thus the easiest to keep as an initial weapon and then a fallback one. Secondly, those same factors also make them easy to mod at lower levels, making them a sort of tutorial/learner modding weapon. Thirdly, by the time you're into settlements, you can mod them a bit and give them out to any of your settlers who don't have a decent enough one. And fourthly, with the scrapper perks, they break down just great for handy materials. They are thus the perfect starter weapon and retains useful roles as the game progresses. I've never understood all the hate...
For the record: I do not dismiss pipe weapons as useles per se (in fact, I actually like them, see my 6-Shot rifle which literally is based on the pipe revolver rifle), but I DO think they have more potential in terms of immersion and storytelling which just kinda has been wasted because of the way they have been implemented. In my honest opinion you only should have been given one or two 10mm pistols in the vault and a handful of cartridges, and once you get out the entire starting area should only provide 38 caliber weapons and ammo for quite some time so you actually have an actual ace in your sleeve with the little ten-mike-mike when you really need it. ;)

Cool mod, keep up the great work.
The mod author should create an Epic Legendary version called: "Mr. Saturday Night Special".
