Love this mod, been using it for years! Finally noticed one very weird problem but it's more Bethesda's fault and it defies logic - the dumb 'next gen' enclave power armor added by their recent update still has a fully visible jetpack, even though I went into its details and it seems to only be making reference to the X-01 jetpack mesh which is definitely being properly made invisible by this mod.
@Lolzman1325 this is awesome! Is there any possibility you could port this to Beth.net for Xbox one? I agree the jet packs look horrible but love the effect! Thank you!
If anyone's interested to have the flames removed as well, you can download the JetpackFX.nif file I made and drop it in CharacterAssets folder. (Data\Meshes\actors\PowerArmor\CharacterAssets)
I love this mod, the jetpacks just look terrible. Would it be possible to do this same treatment to modded Power Armor? For example, Combat Power Armor? http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7841/?
If you want to get really technical, if you can find the Combat Power Armor Jetpack's mesh files, you can literally just copy-paste and rename them and it should work. V4 makes it so the jetpack model is just a completely blank mesh, so it doesn't matter.
The bottle-cap you replaced the jetpack with seems to appear on the ground. It's not always visible, but if you run a bit, and change direction you can usually see it appear for a few seconds.
Is it possible at all to move where it appears or anything? It works fine as is, but now that I've seen it...it's hard for me to not notice it more and more.
Okay, so instead of a bottlecap I replaced the jetpack mesh with the same mesh used for when a fusion core is locked in your power armor.
So now the issue is if your power armor does NOT have a fusion core but has a jetpack, it will still LOOK like you have a fusion core inserted.
I imagine this won't be that big of an issue because in order for power armor to be useful it needs a fusion core, so no power armor should be without a fusion core.
once the g.e.c.k comes out, lolz might be able to make the flame animations smaller, and move their location to the feet, so that iron man paint job users will get more of a closer feeling from it
<i think ill set this mod to tracked, that way i can keep and eye on the updates> =D

I'll try to find a solution ASAP, I might try finding a different model completely to replace it

New version should be up in a bit!
