There's a lot of really awesome and fancy Pipboy replacers out there these days. But this is the one I keep coming back to. It's the faded industrial yellow. It matches both the blue-yellow you'll likely start off with and also the kinds of crazy armours you get in this game, especially with mods like the Raider Overhaul. Ironically the pipboy that blends in the best takes after a canary. Also, the weathering is top notch.
I tried out a few of the Pip-Boy replacers (nearly all of them) and I love this one the best. I'll be keeping an eye out for more of your work, this is really high quality and well executed.
Was the choice to make it yellow, just a personal choice? Would it be a difficult proposition to make another version in the original olive green or other colors?
Sorry about that. Yeah that's not a bug. When I think of bugs I think of glitches and game stoppage.
The texture has areas where rust may stop abruptly and that's caused by the UV seam. It's my fault because I should have seen it and painted over it to blend the areas but it doesn't bother me.
This being my fault in the paint side, it's not an error in the mod itself. It was uploaded that way and works as it should, blemishes and all.
I wasn't too sure about this retex mod... but it has really grown on me. In fact, it is my go-to and on my must-have list. You have a keen eye for detail koojinn.
Have you seen the series wayward pines? There is a scene where cars are kept prestine after some time and it was merely an oversight. Such oversights are common. No paint is going to hold up after 200 years sealed or not.

It will eventually be fixed when I get the time.
Thanks for the feedback!
I for one enjoy having the rusted and dirty ones.
Good looking mod. Looks real if was left outside.
You do realism that the Pipboy was in a sealed vault for all those years .... not exposed to any weather.
will not download, yet keep up the good work.
