From the engineering point of view, long, unsupported stairs are structurally weak. Long straight stairs also take a lot of room.
For the stairs at the front of the building, I suggest one flight of stairs from the roof of the main building down to the roof over the bunker covering the front door, and then another flight to the ground. This will give your stairs the appearance of being properly supported, as well as move the bottom of the stairs to the edge of the building, allowing you more room for construction.
Similarly, for the stairs from the catwalk, one flight leading up to the roof of the bunker, and then another up the the roof of the building, should allow you to move the bottom the of lower flight to the edge of the holding tank, allowing you to properly support it.
Of course, this also gives you and you your settlers access to the bunker rooves.
THAT'S the beauty of it, I'm learning in a practical sense as I proceed with my builds. I use what I learned from my 3090+ hours of playing this game and challenging myself with using STRICTLY the vanilla DLC building assets.
I KNEW I felt something off when I made those stairs like that. Thank you for pointing it out! Truly, thanks.
I built my blueprints with the intent for others to build around/add/change on using my blueprint as foundation for their builds. I keep using as little mod content as possible as a way to challenge myself and make it easier for newbies that is just starting out using mods in this game. Or for those that want to spend as little time as possible on settlement building.
Me? The main appeal for me in this game is the settlement building aspect... and the spiffy Iron Man-like Power Armor suits...
Based on your suggestions, I made a revised redesign of the stairs leading up to the top of the main building and the one leading to the isolated room.
Just check out the new pics that I just uploaded here and tell me what you think. Should I upload a new blueprint file here?
Not everything, just the ones that will get in the way, like the beds because I placed the new clean ones EXACTLY in the place of the old ones and of course the broken catwalks. You can either use the Scrap Everything mod or the more recently made Scrap (almost) Everything mod.
Thank you for downloading. I hope it will help you expand the build to the way that you want because I made my builds (and the ones before this) exactly for that purpose.

Yes, I think that these revised stairs look much more believable.
Well, just speaking personally, I'd rather install your revised version than the old. You could always upload it as "Final - revised".
