If anyone is having issues with NPC footsteps being too loud, can you please provide some video examples?

Can you also list any other audio mods you're using?

Great sound mod! Is there any way to add support for Fallout London?

I'm not hearing any sounds from this mod at all as far as I can tell. I have f4se and MCM installed properly.

*EDIT* User error. Unfamiliar with Linux and edited the wrong .ini files lol.

Super mutant running to me is basically silent.
The player's own voice is too loud, and the sound of NPC footsteps can only have a sound in a specific ground or indoors.

Great mod so far, but for some reason sneaking is quite a bit louder (especially with the jingling/rattling of gear sound fx) in the starting vault (approx. 20-30% louder than walking, running and sprinting). I haven't tried it in another vault, nor have I tried sneaking on metal yet, but everywhere else seems OK. I spent a good 20-30 mins trying to look for the vault sneak sounds in FO4Edit but had no real luck changing the volume... I was hoping you might be able to tell me the correct sound file(s) to edit using FO4Edit?

Thanks again for the mod, it's miles better than the default sounds.

are you ever going to separate the player and npc footsteps to use their own? noticed that they use the same so if i change the player footsteps it changes the npc as well.

Good footstep mod.  Needs some refinement for sure.  Footsteps are too quiet compared to the clothes and gear sounds.

Suggestion: Adjustable slider volume for gear/clothes.

Also needs some refinent when it comes to "close to vanilla volume".  I have to put my slider to like 30% vs 90% for Project Reality and vanilla.

going to delete Quiet NPC Footseps and see if that helps the NPC footstep volume.  It's so Loud.

UPDATE: The footsteps were louder lol Wow that's unberable.
UPDATE2: Quiet NPC footsteps helps.  I edited the NPC volume value to 0.15 in F04Edit and its good

Theory: Vanilla and Project Reality Do not change what I turn on my Surround Sound.  This mod does.  It gets affected by the surrond sound feature.  Not sure how all that works, but maybe thats a place to start?

Also the dissapearing Gear sound fix is from a keyword.  A piece of gear in the "ObjectTypeArmor" keyward tag pings the gear noises.  In case anyone else is curious or it hasn't been answered yet.

If you tried to keep the source sounds as close to vanilla levels as possible, then you've set them too loud. I adjusted the footstep sounds to more reasonable levels and now the vanilla power armour footsteps sounds are way too quiet. It's a bit silly how walking around in power armour is quieter than walking without it.
