About this mod

This mod patches the existing mod, Constructible Guards for Fallout 4 and adds brand new guards from three different factions including overhauling the Enclave with better Power Armor using various third party mods, adding Super Mutant and Raiders with randomly generated NPC faction gear.

Before downloading, read carefully. If you didn’t follow the instructions clearly, don’t complain that it doesn’t work! While many people use Mod Organizer 2 and it’s a great tool, I highly recommend using Vortex. A lot of people complain about the Constructible Guards mod not working, and I was one of them. It wasn’t until I used Vortex to install the mod that it finally decided to work on a fresh install. So be warned.

.: Installation Instructions :.

Make absolutely sure Constructible Guards is installed and working properly, first and foremost. Launch the game and test it.

Ensure that each mod works as intended by launching the game.

Download and install my patch for CGuard.esp (replacing the original CGuard.esp). The newly added guards should be under Defense > Guards > Other in your workshop menu.

Optional manual install - Place all patch files in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4 

KEEP IN MIND: If you don't follow these directions, the mod will not work. I will not distribute those mods in any way shape or form for this download, you will have to download each using the mod manager of your choice and ensure that each of the mods are working properly.

.: WHAT DOES THE PATCH DO? :.

First and foremost, it’s pretty self explanatory. The mod patches the existing mod, Constructible Guards for Fallout 4 and adds brand new guards from three different factions.

Factions:
Enclave
Raiders
Super Mutants

The original mod author no longer works on Constructible Guards, so I took the liberty of updating and adding my own patches that updates one existing faction and adds two more brand new ones. The Enclave (which was already implemented in the original mod) has undergone an overhaul and now uses better equipment based on how the Enclave looked in Fallout 3. The Enclave no longer has a dozen cloned troop types, instead only 4, in which they are based on the troops you encounter in Fallout 3.

I will briefly go over the changes made.

Note: Due to a bug in the Creation Kit, I cannot separate the guards into their own categories and it can’t be fixed.

While I can’t guarantee any further updates aside from any potential fixes, I may decide to add a few more factions in the future. Most notably the Trigger Men, Diamond City, Vault Tec Security, Military, Covenant, different Raider gangs, etc. Perhaps more creatures for guards… We will see.
