UPDATE: All generic responses have been replaced with existing vanilla sound files, i.e "Goodbye, who are you, whats your story" etc... I also fixed the specific line with Ronin which is "remain silent" to be actually silent, along with removing the lip file so the PC won't have mouth movement. Please uninstall the previous version and update to this one, otherwise you'll still have that mouth movement(even if it's just the 1 line). Some of the replaced generic lines(in favor of vanilla ones) will look a bit off with the lip movement. This is because Vasynth generated mouth movement based on the deepfake voice lines, not vanilla. So they wont look 100% in sync.. but it's not that bothersome in my opinion. If you don't like the updated lines with vanilla replacements, revert to the archived version
I don't know if you knew this but there is software called Elven Labs. Modders have started using it. It can mimic emotions and voice perfectly. It will creates your files easily. They recently did this for a big fallout mod called point lookout.
Yeah the problem is, the voice actor for Nora does not allow her voice to be used by AI learning stuff. The method the mod author used is better in that case.
i have tried all kinds of stuff to try to get this to work but no matter what i do it seems that it just wont work at all. none of the player lines are voiced. anyone know what the issue could be?
Absolutely yes. I'm taking a break from F4 right now, but I'll be back at doing these soon. :)
The Machine and Her is gonna be a time consuming one though(but it will be the first one i work on once im back). There's a lot of very specific lines that will need to be individually listened to, then tweaked. As well going through them and removing things like [STRENGTH 8], which were incorporated into the dialogue lines.
The Machine and Her has always been super appealing to me, but I've struggled with it because of the lack of voiced dialog- it's not that I can't deal with lack of voiced dialog in a game, it's the contrast of the voiced dialog of basegame and not voiced dialog of the mod's quests, and until somebody makes a camera mod that properly centers folks and zooms in, a la Fallout 3, NV, 76, etc, any of the mods that actively remove player voice are always going to feel like I've cut something out of the intended experience to me.
I don't care for either or, but people got their wish with Starfield. Personally, i don't think a voiced protagonist effects anything. The branching dialogue and choices from Bethesda still sucks ass no matter what
The vanilla voice sentences still far superior to those created with xVaSynth, maybe you should use them instead when you have the opportunity. For exemple "Who are the Gunners?" "Who are you?" "Good bye" "What do you do around here?" "What's the job?" "Who is this guy?" "What's your story?" etc... are present in vanilla dialogues.
Or it might be better to wait for superior voice synth software, also, unless all voicelines exist, consistency is probably better then mixing generated and vanilla lines.
This along with my other voice pack for Maxwells World, only serve to be a quick and easy solution to silent protagonists. I can certainly look into it though :)

PLEASE ENJOY!
To make voice work, you need a modified DLL from EnvyDeveloper. You can download it here:

look for → XDI Player Voice Unlocker
