But what is the purpose of this mod?
Substantiation / Reason. Raiders I enter the building where there are Raiders. Sneaking to them because that character type I choose. Lean out from behind a corner and "destroys" the skull to one of them with a shotgun. And I hear "What the hell was that?" and despite the fact that his friend in misery just lost head and skipping the shot noise a few seconds later... I hear: "Oh man, please don't be Ferals again." or "Nothing there now." So I prefer not to hear them, than to hear them in a situation that does not make sense for me.
As for the Synth. Who sends the "robot" assassin who still blabber what it does or what will do...
I absolutely LOVE the time you spent on the custom installed on Vortex. Going through each option is simply amazing.
My ONLY questions is that... if I check something on the installer, am I muting that specific action/mumble/phrase or am I whitelisting it and thus enabling it so I can hear it?
If I want [X] to be muted, should I checkmark it or leave it blank?
Love this. I appreciate that you put a custom installer in because I desperately wanted the synths and raiders to shut up but I like my own character to stay chatty and don't mind most of the announcers. The fact that synths in particular announce everything they're doing every second annoyed the damn hell out of me and in-universe it's just plain dumb for them to do.
I use this with "You Talk to Much" so now not only do Raiders not call me rookie while fighting them, they also stopped talking s#*! every 2 seconds I love this mod so much Thanks!
You don't need a video demonstration for this mod because if you read the description: All it does is silence various voices in the game. The mod author kindly typed a full list of these dialogue lines and their file paths in the description. I use this mod's files and they work perfectly fine as intended, and the file paths are correctly named.
People who feel the need to post reasons why they won't even download a mod are a PITA. Nobody cares. To the mod author, thank you sir or madam. Those of us who can read appreciate your work.
