As senseless as it is good-natured. I mean, it's really good for a joke. But it would be nice to have something that fits in a person's hand, almost. They could also be colored. Let's say I'm thinking of a kind of quartz-like sparkling stone. I know this might not look nice in FO4, because of the textures. And maybe only 8K or similar would be meaningfully beautiful. Anyway, I'll download it. They will be good for paperweights. Or beat Preston in the head with. Anyway, the few downloads are incomprehensible. I often consider myself boring, but I understand this joke or its potential.

Is this a follower mod? Does this act like a dog following you ingame, only it's a moving rock that has the same functions as Dogmeat?

It's literally just a placeable rock that stays there and does nothing.  It doesn't follow you, or do anything at all apart from sit there looking all pretty (or about as pretty as a rock can look).  It's pretty much a joke mod, and just having a bit of fun, although if you need rocks in your settlement it does that pretty well.

Oh, well groovy stuff there bud! So it's kinda like a paperweight. Thanks for the info bud
You this reminds me of when I was little, I was an advent rock collector back in california san diego.
Every time I saw a good rock I collected it. Out there it wasn't uncommon to see quarts just lying around.
And where there were canyon-like thingies, you were bound to get a good rock

Y'all had 7 years to do what this person just did. Finally.
They look kinda big though. Any smaller ones, perhaps with googly eyes?

Unfortunately I don't have the skill or tools to create the NIFs.  I did try a bit of a retexture but it didn't look right.  I have sole pet rock distribution rights and I will be selling the Mexican Hat Dance Rock, the lesser spotted Canadian "Le chien" Rock, and the extremely rare Spanish Roca de Gato which will make loving noises when poked.  I'm just having a few problems with quarantine and customs and excise (bloody Brexit!).  They won't have googly eyes, though.  As for smaller, I'll see.

47 years too late to claim sole distribution rights! ROFLMAO! Pet rocks have been sold irl since 1975.

Low maintenance? Have you ever looked under the rocks? Like looking into a toilet!

Rocks are babies, half life and in the other half life then in need of care, until they finally ... silt up!

Maybe.  Even the fact that it's taken them around 4.5 billion years to reach this juvenile state, doesn't guarantee that they are immortal.  Having said that, by the point that they have reached a senior adult the sun will have exploded so you'd be dead too.
