Do you use TR? The FN 502 TR patches definitely work. If not you may have other mods editing TR's behaviour. If you have it, Sprint Reload might be the cause of that as some of us have noticed the TR patch for that doesn't seem to work.
Edit: Multiple runs enabling/disabling the patch with Tacitcal Reload Framework installed, and I can't get the tactical reload to work, nor first person reloading to manually work at all with the patch (it still does the mag-flinging reload if I empty the mag). If I disable the patch, I at least get my manual reloads back.
Do happen to have see-through scopes in your load order as well? Cause in my case I couldn't reload any TR weapons until I went into the STS holotape and enabled the TR patch.
@Laxydane & anyone with tactical reloads issues. It's due to your modlist/order and not a result of this mod. I can't really help you other than to tell you to make sure you have TR set up properly with whatever other mods affect that mod.
@Ardent117 alright, got it working. There is now a clear difference in reloads.
For anyone with this issue AND using See Through Scopes:
1. I switched to Tactical Reload Framework Manual Reload 2. Install and activate the Tactical Reload patch for the 502 (or any other weapon, I tested it with Subleader100's SCAR-H as well). 3. Tagged 3dscopes.esp plugin under Late Fixes & Changes to force Vortex to load it later than Tactical Reload 4. First-person tactical reloads are back and you can manually reload instead of emptying the mag. For example, firing a shot with Ardent's 502 and then reloading results in the quick mag change (holding the second mag as you pull out the old one), but emptying the mag results in the sideways mag fling as you pull out the new one.
Fantastic mod Ardent. The looks, feel and sounds are great. Never thought I would put a 22lr in my game, but this is nice. Ammo choices and that quick mag change puts a smile on my face every time. Thank you.
I'd try to download and install via Vortex, vortex installs the mod without seen problem. But when I try to launch the game, its crushes with no reason. I did remove it for manual install, download it manually from here, open the archive and try extract files for checking them in case of any file structure fault. Alas cant extract files, beceuse Winrar gives the error that Archive is corrupted or broken. It may be the Nexus' end but still, archive is broken. Would be good to update archive with a fresh maked one or an alternative download location.
Downloaded several times to install manually and it says the file is corrupted when extracting anything but the meshes ba2. Anyone else having this issue?
i tried tweak the Recoil - Diminish Spring Force in Fo4edit to 150(vanilla's like) but nothing happen, And also tried swap the aim model to Deliverer's one are still can't give back the recovery.

EDIT: Nevermind, disabled the tactical reload patch and it ended up working again
