I installed this mod a while ago but found that it made the map far too cluttered, so I deleted it and the mod archive from Vortex, but the markers are still there. I have reinstalled all the mods I currently have, but the markers will not go away. How do I restore the map to it's default state without a fresh FO4 install?
Okay so east of Hangman's Alley there is Flagon Tunnel. On my map it shows Flagon Tunnel as a settlement, both on the normal map and when I view supply lines. Could the Flagon Tunnel location be too close to Hangman's Alley and its thinking its part of the settlement?
Don't know if it helps or not, but according to the Fallout Wiki there is a door on the west side that leads directly to Hangmans Alley. Might have something to do with that.
Two years later, and "Me too" regarding the Flagon map marker showing as a settlement. It could be a proximity issue with Hangman's Alley. Personally, I'd prefer no map marker to a wonky one, but everybody has their own way. :)
I think I have some sort of bug since I don't have this mod instaled (neither the save file I'm using tells or warns me about it) and yet all unmarked locations in game are displayed on the map, does this cause performance or stability issues? I have over 350 mods (esl and esl flagged combined with regular and esm files) and sometimes experience crashes when fast traveling to Jamaica Plain, Charlesview and the surrounding areas of Vault Tec Regional Office (most downtown Boston)
I haven't used that mod before, but the description says that it adds hundreds of markers to the Commonwealth alone. I'd be surprised if it didn't conflict with this.
Love it! This mod has helped me discover a bunch of (particularly interior) locations I never knew existed before, and provided interesting information on Boston landmarks. I agree with older comments that downtown is too cluttered, but a bit of zooming and it's perfectly usable as is.
I've loaded the mod into an existing save game and "Flagon Tunnel" haven't been updated to my map (in the pipboy). I have already discovered this placed before (before downloading the mod) and I'm using (FaullUi - Map). Any way I can fix it? (or I don't know). I've already found and marked a place I have never been before, not sure about other places with the same situation as 'Flagon Tunnel'.
EDIT: Apparently, "Cambridge Graveyard" (or "Wildwood Cemetary", as I saw online) was marked fine, like if I've never been there (but yeah, I have visited that place twice, before installing the mod).
Hmm, let me make sure I understand the issue. It sounds like you're not seeing the new map markers even though you've been to the locations before, correct?
If so, that doesn't necessarily sound like a problem. You may have been to a location before, but there was no marker to discover until this mod re-implemented them. The game doesn't have a way of retroactively marking these areas as discovered.
Hopefully that made sense. Let me know if it doesn't.
Yes, I have been there before installing the mod. Basically, If I visited the place before installing the mod, the mod won't be able to make me "re-discover" the place and mark it? Cause i'm pretty sure that it happened that situation with other places, and the markers are fine. (let me know if Diamond City Market and Home Plate are part of your mod or i'm mistaken). My only issue by now is "Flagon Tunnel" (by now, and at least, apparently). Thanks.

EDIT: i looked into the DLCs it seems that none of them has any cut content?
Not that double markers then appear on the map.
