I don't get the flickering or stuttering I'm speaking of without it installed (or with it disabled via scroll lock), and I don't get them with the other reshade presets Ive tried, only this one.
I'm clueless about what the different settings do or how to tweak them, but I assume this preset is just doing something a bit more resource intensive than the other popular ones on nexus.
I haven't tried the new version yet, so maybe its better now. I wont be home to try it for a couple days, but Ill definitely try again then.
Hi I'm trying to follow instructions to make sure I install this correctly but when I open Mediator there is no option to add Fallout4.exe and confirm. It just shows the Preset options where you can name the preset and browse for preset folder. I used this program before for this game and did those steps but then I reinstalled the game and also reinstalled ReShade. Is there something I need to do?
The sharpening effect looks great, although as a photographer I have to say this preset is way to blue (at least during the day). I would prefare warmer colors myself and maybe less darker shadows but the sharpening, thats great man! Looks almost like a retextured game!

(press ScrollLock to turn on and off and you'll see the flickering on vanilla)

(You can also try the no saturation version)
It's so sharp I am pretty sure it cut me bro! (I tried toggling SSAO with f12 with no noticeable difference or message)
It is way too dark, in places where I should see walls and small details easily I see nothing but black.
There is no message when you press F12, but it turns Ambient Occlusion on and off
With Ambient Occlusion turned off, the brightness/darkness remains unaltered from vanilla (unless you have a mod like Darker Nights installed)
To reduce the sharpness, open SweetFX.cfg and find "define sharp_strength" and decrease the value
