With the fallout TV show out and a somewhat renewed interest in modding again. I have begun work on a new update 4.0. There is no ETA for when its dropping but it is coming out soon at some point.
Additionally, there is plans for an optional Rebalancing patch once 4.0 drops. This will make the mod more balanced and tweak some things to bring it down a bit.
Hello, thanks for responding! I wanted to ask you if it's a bug or just common but if you place a Minuteman Guard from the Workshop and decide to change his position later on by placing him somewhere else, he will always walk back to the originally given position.
Short answer: The game preloads everything when you start a new game, installing this mod halfway through an existing save is not recommended as there are changes I have made that will only really kick in on a new save game. For example NPC changes and some of their gear and stats.
Is there any chance that this could get a patch to allow Minutemen to use the TNR Shoulder Lamp? Currently, only ones in Power Armour get any way to see when it's dark.
already started using this on my save, naked minutemen was simply a matter of disabling it and enabling it again, no "plethora of problems" you seem to say there is.
I love this mod. I only found it recently as for years WATM has been my go to. I was however building a mod list on my wife's Xbox about 6 months ago and much to my chagrin WATM does not exist on Beth dot Net. Well, naturally I sought out an alternative and landed on this. After returning to the PC to build a new set i decided i wanted to keep this and to my surprise it actually works along side WATM and You And What Army (with a bashed patch). WATM has a more militia style feel to it and LRU is more militarized so they actually compliment each other.
Although, lets be honest here...LR is insanely unbalanced with god tier equipment and NPCs. On Xbox I had to actively choose to not use the uber armor that is just given to you at the start of the game or the level 65 guards i could hire at lvl 7.
But the the guards are so well done and absolutely perfect for the patrol LL that 'You and What Army' uses. I absolutely must have them to compliment the settlers and followers from WATM.
This is my attempt to marry 'We are the Minutemen 7.7' to 'Liberty Reborn Ultimate Edition'. A simple esl flagged esp patch file that will completely rearrange, consolidate and re-balance the content from both mods into one cohesive and seamless experience.
Appreciate the work you did for the patch! A lot of people enjoy both mods, So being able to use both seamlessly is great!
Regarding Balancing, One of the things I do plan to do is release an optional "Rebalancing" Patch that will adjust a lot of the mod so that the minutemen are not god tier :p.
Will update the description in the FAQ section to include your patch in it!
So there is no way at all to make a compatibility patch for AWKCR or armorsmith. because i have other faction overhauls requiring those and this is top 3 on my choices for minutemen overhauls.
Sorry to say but AWKCR is outdated and abandoned by this community because the of compatibility issues created by that method have been resolved with better methods. I would recommend transitioning away from it because mods dependent on it are not likely to have many updates when the game version update comes in a month or so.
This mod, along with it's sisters(Legendary Crafting Overhaul and New Equipment Overhaul) and it's subsequent secondary optional requirements(RobcoPatcher, Complex Item Sorter and Canary save file monitor) are all built around maximum compatibility with the most mods possible.
There are two types of armor. One is a premade outfit, this can be crafted at the minutemen bench. The bench itself is found in the crafting category of the workshop menu.
The other type is loose combat armor pieces that can be painted, they are literally just a paint scheme for combat armor, find that and you can paint them.

I know that We are the Minutemen has a patch, but not sure if it will work together with this mod, even if I used the patch between the two.
Yes, there is a patch under the optional files.

I think you know where this is going...

I recommend Equipment and Crafting Overhaul (ECO) - Redux
