I had to remove this mod mid game because for some reason the weight penalty became permanent. Tried MCM Settings, dropping weapons and picking them up again nothing worked. It might an conflict with my LO so can't put all the blame to this handy mod.
I keep encountering a bug with this mod. At random when I pick something up, say a grenade, it will activate the mod effect and lower my carrying capacity, even though I haven't actually gone over the weapon limit. Usually, what I have to do is drop a couple of items and pick them back up again, and all of a sudden it's fixed.
Today though the bug has been persistent. I'm fine if I drop one or two items, but once I pick them back up, I am overencumbered, even though I am still only carrying one rifle, two pistols, and a couple of grenades.
Will this work with S7 Skill System? MO2 says it's a conflict but when I run it, it seems to be working fine. I'm just worried that I'll have to start over after a corrupted save 40 hours in.
hi there, I'm having issues with this mod that seems to be related to mines (standard vanilla game).
I'm trying to uninstall it by using the player.removeperk command, but the perk remains in the pipboy, which gets me a little worried. If possible, could you assist please?
EDIT FOR ANYONE WANDERING ON HOW TO UNINSTALL: managed to remove simply by... uninstalling the mod, go figure. Since there's no description info about how to go about it, I followed the procedure from the ammo carry limit mod that inspired this one, assuming that it would be the same. Turns out it's not and it seems that there's no need to fiddle with console perk removal at all, rather, simply uninstall the mod and the perk will successfully disappear too.
No offense, but I can't understand why people need mods to do things that just take a bit of willpower, like carrying few items or not using fast travel.
No offense, but I can't understand why people feel the need to comment on mods they have absolutely no interest in and lecture others on how they should play a stupid game. Perhaps you should exercise some of that much vaunted willpower and refrain from making inane comments in future.
Just like the people who gripe if the modder adds what the player thinks are OG items to the mod. "Get rid of them and I'll use it!" Well, use willpower and don't use those items. Easy enough. I don't go around explaining to modders why I'm not going to use their mod. If I'm not going to use it, I just don't use it.

I learned long ago that not everyone thinks as I do. You should learn it too.
I'm sorry. It was late when I wrote that and I should have looked closer. Thank you for responding. I wouldn't have held it against you if you had given me the "look at the description page" b/c honestly I deserved that.
Theres a config.json file. If you mean an ini file for altering settings outside the game, no I didn't make that, but that could be easily done.
Otherwise, you need to make sure you have the Mod Configuration Menu installed. Make sure you downloaded the latest version of this mod. And make sure your download didn't somehow get corrupted.

thanks for a great mod otherwise.

Why not game devs give players godmode and let the players use their WILLPOWER to know when they're spposed be killed?
Why not game devs give players mininukes all across the Commonwealth and let the players use their WILLPOWER to not pick 'em all up?
you realize how stupid your comment sounds? Game rules exist for a reason
In the file description it states: "Allows the customization of limits via MCM"
In the changelog it reads: "Weapon limits can now be customized through MCM"
Golly gee, I don't know. It's a mystery.
I could probably make it a little bit clearer on the description page tbh.
