Botox support has already been added to HFR (it's been there for a while now, but no one looks at changelogs). You need to use RFP face slides (which you can get from the HFR page) to generate the meshes using Bodyslide.
Two questions, does this mod not have to be used with mods that modify characters like Cait or Piper and another question, do characters have that neck seam where the head does not match the body?
short anwer: no answer for non-perfectionists: if the high poly overwrites all parts of the face and you dont mind some mismatched rear head skin, it should "work". else, you'll get browless bugs everywhere
Those who use clean, flat settlements will have problems with the latest version of this mod.
It seems that Botox conflicts. I downloaded the previous version and so far it's not giving me any problems, in fact, it's even improved as it no longer conflicts with FG. This isn't a bug report, it's just an incompatibility between mods. If you use "clean and Flath" don't use the latest version of Botox, use the previous one. It only gave problems after many hours of play. How I know this: The Buffout 4 crash log told me, and I'm not going to post it here because it's not a bug report, but an incompatibility between mods.
putting this mod at end of LL and unpacking all its contents... still have brown face bug is this incompatible with any mod or requires something else besides CBBE?
Great looking mod, a big fan of the Cait replacer too. It really suits her! Appreciate bring the UFO4P changes forward too.
Unfortunately I've had to stop using it due to the dreaded rusty face, seems to happen fairly often. Look forward to an update if you manage to figure out the cause.
Facing the same issue as elquisrata before. Installed via Bethesda's mod menu, Botox mod keeps uninstalling itself, and I can't enable it if I'm playing offline which is more than most of the time with the Steam Deck. I've changed the names in both Plugins, Mods & DLClist but still can't get it to work.
This mod is in theory a fantastic idea and Kudos to the developer a great thing for the game! However it broke my game. I admit I have a heavily modded game. (all the DLCs, all the AAFs, family planning and many others) so other players may not have my issues.
All saves now show rust face on player and NPCs .. AND my character body is turned into a glob with sectional splotches on as if CBBE is not working. yet CBBE is still there and in correct load order too. usually I can fix rust face + body glob by uninstalling/reinstalling CBBE and then uninstalling the mod that caused the issue but not this time at least not the first 2 tries.
But I got the mod off the in game mod menu so it does not show up in Nexus to uninstall no matter what I do and the in-game hosted uninstall feature does not seem to work at all. On the in game mod menu (hosted by Bethesda or steam? not sure) I disabled it AND uninstalled it with the intent to reinstall via nexusmods/vortex for better management but I seem unable.
Plus about a dozen of my key other mods have been disabled on downloads and I need to reconstruct them in the right order. now an hour later i am still trying to fix it. I am pretty good at fixing a broken games by now so I have no doubt i will be able to fix and if not I was toying with the idea of breaking it all down and redoing it anyway since my skimpy clothes mod and another one never work anymore ever since I installed another mod.
I thought it would eb extra safe since it game off the in-game mod menu.
I am not really complaining though. Still happy you made your mod. It just seems incompatible with many of the other mods I run.
In the end I may tear everything down and carefully build from the ground up a clean game anyway.
Apparently there is a bug in the Bethesda engine that, if named in a specific way, prevents the .esp plugin from showing up in the load order menu (and messing up the load order). This should be fixed in an upcoming update by renaming the plugin to "botox.esp" or something similar.
The brownface bug is a bit tricky to figure out. I suspect it is either because of .dds texture compression or some transparency issue in the _s.dds files.
The mod has no files that modify the body, only the head and neck are affected, so I'm not sure what happens there.
To pin down the brownface bug: Do you have the Highres Texture DLC installed? Can you delete "Botox for Fallout4 - Textures.ba2" (but keep the mod active) and see if the problem still persists?
yes I have the hi res DLC> I do not dare experiment with it any further it took me too many hour to repair my game and sevral unistalls and reinstalls. There is no shade on you for that.

I would still like to give this mod a chance again sometime since it has shown up as a pre requiste in one or two presets I would like to try. Would it be possible to post a list of incompatible mods?
Im waiting for some parts for my new PC. My current one can't handle the highres DLC, wich is most likely the cause for some of the bugs. Until then I can't make the new patches.

Load Botox.esp after CBBE.esp to avoid neck texture mismatch.
Brown face bug is fixed in version 1.11
changelog:
- Brown face bug fixed (removed *_s.dds textures)
- Updated faces for DLCs
I don't know about the neck seam with body replacers, you'd have to test it yourself.

I found the brown face bug: It was the *_s.dds textures. New version 1.11 fixes this.

That should lower brownface bugs everyone seems to agree
