This worked great for me using Lightweight Lighting. It didn't appear to do much or anything with Commonwealth Climate or NAC X Legacy no matter if I loaded this before or after, but with Vanilla or Lightweight Lighting it works well.

Good to hear! I actually didn't get to use this much after I made it, lol. Ended up putting down FO4 again. So it's good to know it's been useful for others.

I put down Fallout 4 all the time. I cycle between this, Fallout 76, Skyrim, and ESO.

lol, right? I go between Fallout 4, ESO, and whatever new thing is out that I want to try. Right now, it's COD MW2 multiplayer. Event coming up in ESO in a few days, though. So I'll be playing during that! haha

Sadly, It hasn't done much to my game, I still go blind as a bat when I'm inside the institute or other very bright areas etc, but many thanks for sharing anyways.

I may try the other mods and see how they are, but before I do so, would it be safe to disable this mod and continue with existing save? thank you.

Yeah, it should be okay! :) Try the mod I linked on the description page that changes them all to 0.1.

Do you use ENB? I know stuff like this doesn’t work with or help when using an ENB. I actually made this mod because of the Institute. lol. It isn’t a huge change, but I could tell the difference from vanilla. The problem is with lowering eye adaption (this mod halves the vanilla values) is that it’ll help with bright areas not being so bright… but it’ll also brighten the dark areas. So I tried the halfway point. Haha.

Well, I will give it a try. Someone else made a similar mod in the past, but it never worked for me properly. I use a particular home mod, and it has one or two fairly bright lights that just cause this feature to go nuts. His was supposed to completely turn it off, but as I said, it never worked right, or at all. I'll come back and let you know if it works out.

If this doesn’t work, you may need the stronger version. I linked it on the description page.
