   It doesn't work - can somebody explain the exact process of installing the mod, so I can compare it with what I did (its not my 1st mod and I did what should be done...)?

      move the esp down to the bottom of your mod orders. probably some mod being load below override the changes, making this esp useless.

   To anyone still looking in 2021, this other mod does the same except it gives options for removing filter on Recon, Night-vision, or both kinds of scopes.

   This is definitely a step up. Only thing I'm waiting for, which it'll probably be a while is a thermal recon scope, or a toggleable night vision scope

      when the geck comes out we might just very well get that mod / them mods
      
      i'd love to have a nightvision recon scope
      i might actually use the recon scope after that

    Yep. Just what I'd been waiting for. Thank you. Quick tip too, if you double click right mouse to zoom, holding down your second click you bypass the slow fade in on the scope. Useful from time to time. Cheers.
