I have a Mod Request! Listen/here me out before you say no please. I want a XM5 Animation replacer, but 1 handed(like terminator) where you hold and aim/shoot this rifle 1 handed
Thanks for the mod! I really like it. And those equip and movement anims - Oh my I love them. But... Is there any chance for other grips anims? And there is still that "lost footstep sound" bug. Like the player character has only one leg.
Hi Ardent, firs off, thank you, I love clamp style.
Please, I would like to ask you, how difficult would it be to apply this mod to the regular MCX by Subleader or the MCX Virtus mods? I am really interested in these possibilities and look forward to your answer.
Hey man, is it possible you can do this for the MK18? I understand it would take a while to reanimate stuff but I really liked this mod and would like to see it for the MK18.
I'd do it myself but I'm too lazy to figure out how to actually animate stuff.
Very strange. All it is are loose file meshes, so it SHOULD override the animations used by the NGSW mod, including the stupid 1-handed tacticool run with what is in reality a very heavy rifle. However it doesn't. The C-clamp as well as the two-handed run do not show up in game. Any clue what I could do differently?
dont know tbh, might be a load order issue if you use vortex? maybe you have the original spear's meshes loose and after these. that's the only thing it could be really that i know of.
Thanks for the reply. No, the original ones are all packed still in BA2. I'm using Nexus Mod Manager Community Edition (definitely will not use Vortex ever again until they make adjusting load order simple and easy to do), and the NGSW is literally the last of the weapons portion of my load order. Meshes wouldn't have a load order anyway that I have ever seen in the last 10 years. Thanks, anyway. I'll just chalk it up to one of those Fallout things.
Thing is, mesh and texture only mods get installed manually by me. And they load in-game without the assistance of mod managers. There is no need for installing them with any Mod tool, as they do NOT have a load order, other than the game engine knowing to load loose files after BA2's. (Yes, the .ini has to be adjusted accordingly). As for NMM, I've tried all, and the super easy ability to change load order is why I use NMM. User control, especially since I don't install any mods with NMM. They all get manually installed and then load order is adjusted. I've always done this. Yours, out of the 250 ticked mods in my load order and 30 mesh and texture only mods installed, is the first in which the animations/meshes/textures don't show at all, so NMM is not likely the problem, I'm thinking . I'll comb through my .ini's and see if there is a problem there with one being overwritten through a recent re-validation.
lol mate, mo2 is far better for adjusting load order, it literally is drag and drop. I used NMM for years before i switched over. NMM sucks hard and has issues you don't even notice.
I load meshes and textures through my mod manager as well, in case there's several overwriting for other mods, allowing me visible control, rather than more or less.... guess work, especially when managing a 700+ mod load order. Manually installing mods is just silly. Through MO2 I know exactly what's overwriting what and can easily move things around. NMM was the worst of the 3 for that xd
Ok. Your solution is to tell me the mod manager I use that has had no problems in my game (or any other game either) until your mod is the problem. Thanks. I'll just give you an endorsement and be done with it.
I used nmm for years man, the whole time I played and modded skyrim i used NMM (like 3 years) then I switched and 100% glad I did. from a mod maker and mod user position. I'm not talking out of my ass. you're not the first or last person I've suggested to switch, you're just the only person (in 5 years since) to think nmm is the best one, normally casuals think vortex is the best because they got suckered into using it as its the one that's pushed by nexus. you're probably just used to nmm, and change is hard and I get that. just being factual here but the virtual folder system of mo2 and even vortex's method, are better than nmm's, as well as the load order and profile switching functions.
and my mod is literally just loose animations. its not my mod that's the issue. its something else on your end. unless you've failed to notice from the mod description that this mod only affects the non-foregrip animations <.<
But I dont see it in my load order, Im using MO so Im mostly checking my load order in there and so I couldnt find the animation mod, it's kinda disappeared for some reason, but it's said it override the original MCX mod so Idk what should I go from there
add it as a new mod, its only animation files so there's no esp, place it after the mcx spear.. not much more to say than that my dude. sounds like you're using vortex, i suggest switching to mo2 whenever's convenient... vortex is kack.

Very cool mod. I really like the c-clamp grip,
but some experts use the stubby grip to hold the c-clamp grip.
Would you like to add it?
But...

Endorsed!
