I'll post an article when I have the free time to do so. This is not a mod, but a guide on how to modify Fallout 4 on Steam Deck. The download is merely a PDF version of the article that will be going up sometime in the near future.
Why would you waste time making this guide?
To guide other Steam Deck owners in the right direction when it comes to modifying Fallout 4 on Steam Deck. Especially those who refuse to use Bethesda.net or who don’t want to go through the hassle of getting Mod Organizer 2 working in Desktop mode. I haven’t seen any guides on YouTube and the ones that claim to show how to mod Fallout 4 on Steam Deck simply show how to use Bethesda.net.
That’s boring and easy and I’m not a boring or easy kind of guy.
The topic sounds a bit more complicated than itis simple. Is it really that simple?
If an idiot like me - who has never touched Linux before - can figure it out, anyone with two brain cells to rub between their fingers can figure it out. I’m sure there’s some weirdo command line way to do all this shit, but I’m a pleb, so I do things the pleb way.
NOTICE: MAKE SURE PLUGINS.TXT IS SET TO "READ ONLY" TO PREVENT MODS FROM DISABLING THEMSELVES ON YOUR STEAM DECK
