SOLUTIONCheck your files (plugins on Vortex) and make sure the PreVis file is at the bottom.  To do this on Vortex, you have to click the icon under "Dependencies" and drag it to the icon of your last plugin.  This will ask you to set a new rule, specifically "Load After".

    Hello,

I've been running into this visual bug and I spent hours trying to figure out what was causing it.  Basically, around the point where you first meet Trashcan Carla, if you look towards Drumlin Diner the visuals tear, stretch, discolor, etc.  I hit all the usual suspects first: texture overhauls, LODs, etc.  Then it occurred to me, what if Drumlin Diner is the problem?

So, I disabled it all (IDD and this patch) and the bug went away.  I then re-added Immersive Drumlin Diner without this patch, and it worked fine (featuring the tables/benches inside of course).  Finally, I wanted to make sure I didnt screw up the load order, so I re-added your patch and placed it at the very bottom (Immersive Drumlin Diner is about midway through the load order, far from the patch).  Despite placing the patch much further down, it still produced the bug and is the screenshot linked at the top.

Any idea what is happening here?  I have played with and without PRP (prefer to play without), but neither affects this patch and the strange bug it produces.

Sorry for the long post.  I am running the latest versions of all mods and the game (no downgrader or mods that depend on downgrading).  I use FlaconOil's retexture mod and Grasslands, so perhaps there is a conflict there?  The rest of my mods are Dak's weapons and NG faction overhauls.  I also had to give up using Enhanced Lights and FX because the patch doesn't seem to help it anymore (Vault 111 immediately loses some floor textures after leaving), and disabling it immediately solved the issue.

And finally, I've seen this bug on many other posts (completely unrelated to your patches), and it seems to be prevalent since NG released, so maybe NG is at fault regardless of mods used.

P.S. - Thanks for all the hard work you've done.  It has extended and enhanced so many of the best mods ever made for FO4.

First thing before troubleshooting further. The PreVis file needs to load at the bottom of your load order. Is it there?

It is now, and your patch is running flawlessly!

I did a Midnight Ride playthrough a few months ago, so this time I wanted to be lazy and use Nexus Mod Manager for NG. In doing so, I didn't even consider that specific file and only remembered the main file.

Thanks again!  I'll add the reminder/fix to the top of my main post.

I think it doesn't work with lastest PRP

Always get broken precombine if i tried load patch after PRP ( Lower PRP in Load Order )
If i tried to load it before PRP ( Above PRP in Load Order ) , merged furniture bug happened

Make sure you load the PreVis file after PRP, and that there is no other mods touching the area. It should work, I tested it with latest PRP.

Yeah, after tinkering out load order
Just put Immersive Drumlin Diner and the patch as bottom load order as possible

In my load order it works as :
      PRP
      PRP Patch
      Immersive Drumlin Diner
      This Patch
      End of Load Order

Sorry for the delay. Hopefully 1.3.0 will fix the issues you've been experiencing.
Make sure to load PreVis file last.

This patch is actually the cause of the merged furniture. Disabling this patch and having IDD lower in your LO below PRP will work fine. Could have something to do with PRP being version 74 now?

Was fine in my initial testing.
Meant to check it sooner, sorry for taking to so long.
Still think it was fine, but redid the PreVis for 1.3.0.
Works fine with latest PRP in my current testing.

Does this patch fix the bug of vanilla furniture being merged with the one that the mod adds?

Assuming it loads after anything else that would touch the area (so load it late, after mods like PRP even), then yes.

You don't happen to be in the mood to make a patch for this that'll work with Rebuild Starlight and its PRP .69 patch...? :D

Does anybody can confirm is this work with PRP 69?

Good question, it has to overwrite PRP's version of Drumlin Diner but that also effects the cells adjacent to it. This patch has older timestamps for the cells adjacent so it may break PRP.

Dates aside it should work just fine for PRP. I've got mixed response in terms of date being an issue or not though.
You could always install and test it. If it doesn't work lemme know.

This still works with PRP 69. I tested it by using the tpc command. With precombines off there is a drop in frame rate, with precombines on and this patch there is an improvement in frame rate. Thanks!

    Thanks for sharing this one!

But, could make it compatible with the last stable/unstable version of PRP. It still conflict on this load order:

    ImmersiveDrumlinDiner
    PRP
    ImmersiveDrumlinDiner-eXoPatch

It will show some conflicts so to say as it overwrites the stuff PRP does due to the edits made by ImmersiveDrumlinDiner. But that's expected.

Unless I'm missing something here? Did multiple tests though to make sure everything ran smooth.

After further inspection and learning about PreCombines/PreVis I've realized this mod didn't work perfectly with PRP until now.

I redid the PreCombe/PreVis data from scratch, and while the files are slightly bigger now, it should now work with both vanilla and PRP without issue.

EDIT : I removed my earlier comment, this mods still works with PRP .65, just load this patch after PRP.esp

      PPF.esm
      ImmersiveDrumlinDinner.esp
      PRP.esp
      ImmersiveDrumlinDinner-eXoPatch.esp

I just want to say, thanks so much for this, I've been using this mod for a long, long time as it really is the best Drumlin Dinner mod I've seen that ticks my 'immersion' bug, however, I knew it was going to cause possible crashes due to the broken precombines. Now, I don't have to worry about that ever again.

I appreciate the hard work you've put into fixing this up for us. Really, thanks.
