No matter what program I use, BAE or this, dragging and dropping never seems to work for FO4. I've been at it for hours, and the archives never show up.

I've been looking all over the place for a BSA packer for years now, so I could change the meshes on a Skyrim SE custom race mod so I could get rid of an unsightly tail.  I found unpackers galore, and a command line tool that I couldn't begin to figure out how to use.

Then, I stumbled upon this little program.  I'm enjoying the game with the modded mod and everything, as Mr. Howard would say, "just works."

    Thank you.

Archive2 from the Creation Kit stopped working for me. Thanks for this or I would have lost my mind.

Just... Just like that? I spent 6 hours struggling with an older unpacker and packer set of files and failing, and BSArch Pro just... it just works!

I feel like I'm just missing something but I have tried dragging archive files into the BSArchPro and nothing appears to be happening. Dont I just drag and drop the Main.bsa and Texture.bsa into the page and it should load there or is there another way I am missing?

There were reports of drag&drop not working: one under Linux, the other when running with admin rights in Windows. Can't say anything else unfortunately. Impossible to fix something what you can't reproduce and it always works for me.

I had to run it outside of MO2 for it to work.

Ran into this problem as well on Windows. Was running it through MO2. Even though MO2 had admin rights, programs ran through it didn't. Just had to run this tool as an admin from it's .exe.

I'm testing to see if I can extract the BSA files with the FNV dubbing from the PlayStation 3 version. Extracting the files is simple, but whenever I try to reassemble them, it never works, and the game has no audio in the characters' speech. Do you know if this program works on PlayStation 3 version games as well? I tried using BSArchPro and BSArch, but neither worked.

No, consoles have their own format.

This is a very wrong place to ask. Nexus is not a site for pirates and hackers.

I would just like to ask if all of these files are valid for packing in BSArch for New Vegas:

textures (.dds, .tga), meshes (.nif, .rdt), animations (.kf), menus (.xml),
sounds (.wav, .ogg), music (.mp3, .ogg), fonts (.fnt), FaceGen
(.ctl, .egm, .egt, .tri), lipsync data (.dat), text (.txt), SpeedTree
    (.spt), and dlod (.dlod) settings

This is from BSA Files - GECK; just wanted to confirm before I started packing

    Edit:
I did see that voice files should not be compressed. Would you also tell me about other exceptions

Is is possible to redate a BSA timestamp using this utility?
