Oh thank you for sharing this mod!! I was rapidly falling in love with Veldt when i discovered the state of the glowing sea... eyeball-high grass i can call immersive, 100m straight edges where the grass suddenly stops, not so much.
I thought I'd caused them myself by piling together true grass, grass reworked, better landscape grass and veldt, but nope, turns out they're just there in veldt to begin with.
I might combine the two esp into one at some point.
If you want to merge the changes into VELDT.esp, then just load my plugins after VELDT and fire up FO4Edit. Once in, expand my plugins, bringing the 'Landscape Textures' section into view, and shift-click choose alll the entries of one .esp, and then right-click and choose 'Copy as override (with overwriting) into...' and in the pop-up choose VELDT.esp. Choose 'yes to all'. Repeat with the other .esp. I'm no expert in using FO4Edit, but that should work, just backup VELDT.esp in case something goes horribly wrong.
after i disabled the grass mod and this, when i load into my game i'm stuck in this weird black void, which becomes incredibly bright when i try to open my pip boy
I cannot reproduce the problem you're facing. Also, as a general rule it's not recommended to disable any esp/esl/esm plugins after you've started a playthrough, it can cause problems.
Thank you so much for this.Will there also be a patch that restores Nukaworld's grass to its vanilla state? VELDT is really beautiful in The Commonwealth, but it is a disaster in the Nuka world, and CTD has not been stopped.
You're welcome. And hey, I managed to remove most of the VELDT grass in Nuka-World, kinda. I'm afraid that's the best I can do. There are still some leftover grass textures perhaps from either True Grass or VELDT, but other than that it seems that there's only grass in vanilla areas of Nuka-World now. So yeah, I uploaded the new .esp for Nuka-World to Optional files.
Out of curiosity, would this work on just the normal true grass mod? I like true grass, but I like having my glowing sea being a baren hellscape without the grass.
