This mod is a life saver literally! I play on survival and I like the concept of vanilla save on rest only but the game is not stable enough to rely on that. Too many times has it randomly crashed while I'm several hours in and I don't want to rest to lose food buffs and risk becoming lethargic.
I like it, but I want to force disable the sleep anywhere mechanic. I don't mind it at your settlements where no, you shouldn't get disease from a clean bed you just built..about some raggedy STD laden human sock in the wild should.
Yeah, the save system sucks in survival because it makes autosaves not quicksaves, and you can't save every 5 seconds, and you get AIDS from sleeping in a hammock or whatever. But that's kinda the point. These mods that make it where you can not only save anywhere, but you suffer none of the debilitations like losing your adrenalin perks/no diseases... it literally defeats the purpose. Just play on non-survival mode then.
I would prefer something like a mod that makes the sleeping create a hard save, not an auto. Or if there's a save without sleeping, its only in your settlements or on beds you created. That would keep the challenge intact and filter out the bullshit. It keeps you from save scumming to get a nights sleep without getting scurvy, or risking the manual way of doing it by using exit saves and reposting them in the documents because 90% of the time the exit save will break and punish your cheating by making you lose 4 hours of work. At least there's a risk vs reward for being a dirty dirty cheater.
Sleep or Save doesn't make it so you can save anywhere, just only at beds. Now, if you have beds everywhere or a portable bed that's different, as it allows you to save almost anywhere. But Sleep or Save is not that, and this mod simply fixes features from the mod that aren't working.
I would like to point out, in case you're unaware, that my fixes fix the Full Save feature, allowing you to create full saves (once enabled in MCM) at beds using SoS. Losing adrenaline is simply a balance feature that I feel should stay, although if there is enough demand for it I will look at adding that functionality to SoS as an option in MCM.
Anyways, that's exactly why I like SoS though. It makes saving less annoying while not taking away the challenge of survival (that being, the removal of save-scumming).
For anyone reading this wondering where I've been, I'm back to modding Fallout 4 so I plan on catching up on all the stuff I've promised to do/look into for people months back. BOLO for updates to some of my previous mods.
EDIT: After reading your comment on the original Sleep or Save mod, I think I understand what you mean. I'll look at adding an option to letting you have a chance of catching a disease upon saving.
Yeah, I tried the fix that allows hard saves, which, gyat damn that's awesome. Im not dumping on convenience, it's just personal preference. And dominant strategy. Once you provide a better solution people will always use it.
There's no reason to ever sleep again with cost free saves and a supply of caffeine. If anything, my first play I used nukas to avoid having to sleep just so I wouldn't get a disease before I could find some antibiotics or a doctor. Made me feel all tactical.
And the absolute rage of 3 days being erased because CTD. So I get it.
I was hoping to use the mod Sleep or Save and in combination with Sleep or Save Fixes to maybe fix the "no save bug" with Sanguinaire vampire mod, but when I use the Save-O, and close the Pipboy, nothing happens. Oh well, it was worth a shot.

I'm tryin to use it on Fallout London and it would better my experience so much because the beginning is quite hard !
Works fine with no F4SE.
Thanks Goldtiger01
