If you guys don't like a certain sound, in Vortex you can right click on the mod and select "Open in file Manager". From there you can simply remove whatever sound you don't want by deleting it out of the folder.
Haven't tested this myself, but this is likely the best way to achieve this. I don't think I will be creating any sort of way of customizing which sounds you want to include / exclude unfortunately. If I ever do, it will be far the future :/
Love the menu interaction FX. Not sure I'm sold on the quest, discovery, etc. sounds, but honestly - anything but the default is a welcome change. The vanilla sounds are so tired.
Loving this so far, but I did have a question. I was running a mod that removes the cash register 'DING!' sound when you get a kill. Modern UI Sounds overrides that mod regardless of load order and adds a new sound effect when you get a kill (or gain XP). Is there a way to disable the XP sound effect? Thanks!
Awesome mod. Though I wish we could customize which sounds were changed in the mod configuration menu. The sound for when you get a new quest is kinda spooky and scares me lol
The one sound that belongs from the default UI is the analog click sound when you traverse the menu by turning the knob. That knob design and the animation that turns is screams old world clicking sound. At least when I use Pip Pad.
Watching your video, that is the only sound that seems out of place - at least for me - in terms of immersion. The rest is fine. Is it possible to have just that one UI motion keep the default sound?
Fired it up, the only issue I can understand as when it switches to the Map tab it does the "poop" sound - but that is because it forces the cursor on your current location. I can live with that. Need to does a quest or two to check the rest of the sounds.

Thanks for such a quick response.
