Uhhhh, this mod unfortunately is giving me some problems it used to work before, but for some reason this is happening.
I'm getting these hideous block feet for female characters, even though I used the bodyslide and set the files up. It should be giving me regular feet. So, can you please fix this?
which version you using? looks like a cbbe skin texture is on vanilla feet if i had to guess, i would say the problem is the cbbe body build isnt making a file with the same name as the outfit you are using there. i dont wana add more cbbe replacers for the other outfits. you can fix it by opening up data\meshes\clothes\grandmamonk\(in here look for something like grandmamonkoutfitBeadlessbarefootshirtlessf.nif and replace it with a similar named file with a larger size) larger size means its using cbbe feet. replacing is as simple as moving or deleting the small file and putting a file with the same name and place
I dont feel like doing all of that just to get a mod to work. Your mod should really just work, like plug in play tbh. I've never had this problem with a mod before. Maybe its from your angle? I wish I could get it to work, but it's just not working. Not sure what else to say
the base game doesnt "work" if you use cbbe skins. just need all cbbe outfits. i made the mod for vanilla, the cbbe stuff was tacked on at the end for requests
Isnt there a way to custom make this for cbbe? Feet are finicky about things when it comes to the body, i know in skyrim male feet look vanilla when using footwraps, the mod author actually had to make a veraion specifically for the body
takes me 1min to add cbbe feet to a vanilla outfit. adding barefoot sounds, bodyslide, and integrating it into the game can take hours. the suggestion i made for you would take seconds if i could do it myself :V if i just slap cbbe feet on the vanilla murphy outfit, put it in the right file order and upload it, you'll probably still get your error. i dont know where your bodyslide places the outfits it builds, which outfit you're using, and what kind of body, skin, skeleton, and physics you use.
I'm gunna level with you man, I'm not too computer literate All that switching files in folders is tough for my adhd mind to handle. I am using mod organizer, which makes this a bit more challenging for me then with nmm. I guess maybe when you find time whenever you can look into it? tbh I don't really even know where my mod organizer stores its files either. It's a strange cluster sometimes with how it handles mods.
i have adhd brain and suck at computers but have endless patience for some kinds of stuff. on mod manager its waaaay easier to organise files than NMM. on the right you'll see a tab saying [ Data ]. that's what your files would be if you launch the game with the mods you've ticked.
if you want me to fix yours, i probably gotta make a mod, see if it solves what MIGHT be your problem, then rinse and repeat. i may have to relearn how to make bodyslide osb files(which i wont wana do) if the problem lies there. i suspect your issue is just that the location your Bodyslide construction is putting the files, isnt being used by your mod manager. usually Mod Organiser puts files made through Bodyslide in overwrites, which is fine.
to see if you have the files in the Overwrite folder, scroll to the bottom of your mod list and if there are files in Overwrite, there will be a red word. right click that and go Open in Explorer. if the file is from bodyslide targeting this mod it will have Meshes, open that then Clothes, then Grandmamonk. if you dont have Grandmamonk folder you can link the Bodyslide.exe file to Mod Organiser by clicking the down arrow on the left of the Run button and going edit, clickin the + on the top left of the window that pops up and select *from file*, and find where you put Bodyslide.exe. click apply the ok or if you dont know the location... (you can just so a search by clicking My Computer, going to the drive that holds your games, probably C or E, and typing Bodyslide.exe in the top right next to the little magnifying glass, highlight the address and press ctrl c. back at the point where you pressed edit and the +, in the window that pops up called Select an executable, highlight the address and press ctrl v). now you can build the outfits through Mod organiser! it should place the files it makes in overwrite or the mod that contains the outfits.
if you want to learn about folders yourself, here is a summary:
About overwriting: it includes details on what is overwriting what by highlighting files in red. you can hover over the file to see if one more is overwriting another. this list only accounts for loose files, not overwrites from BSAs(BSA files are bunches of compressed files that are activated by as ESP. loose files ALWAYS overwrite BSA. at the bottom of that tab window there is a box you can click that filters out all but the conflicts: [ ] Conflicts only.
How to find and replace: in the Data tab you'll see Meshes, click the arrow, below you'll see the arrow next to clothes, and in clothes you'll see Grandmamonk(capital letters dont matter). the files in Grandmamonk should have written next to their names which mod they come from. to access a files in there that come from this mod(whatever you called it), right click a file and click *reveal in Explorer*. in the window that opens up (which should be this mod), you can see each file has a size( eg: 100kb). files with cbbe feet should be closer to 500 since the mesh that more details to make little smooth toes...
Thanks for this, this set of instructions is very thorough actually, and I might be able to work with this. I will have to go through this and see if I cant get this to work. Any other help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Yeah ADHD is fun for doing stuff like using it to write epic novels and paint cubism and art, but when it comes to instructions my mind sometimes tend to hit a brick wall
ADHD is good for brainstorming details for a novel since distractions while surrounded with useful subject matter can offer fresh inspiration and keep one engaged and inventive. writing a novel systematically without plot holes? it's going to take longer but might be more inspired. coding n debugging with adhd is a nightmare.
You tell me man! Check out my blog at Cascadia legends under my bio. Im the author of a scifi named Chronologue. Chronologue is a dystopian based in the 23rd century furure of America, and its about AI and robota trying to take over the world and turn people into machines
What's crazy is I talked about a super virus in the novel called Super Aids; its waa infecting everything, objects, people, and even poisoning the oxygen. There were curfews, people were forced to stay home, had their guns taken away, even the Jehovah Witness were forced to stay home and church services halted. So in the novel, people had to use a vaccine called Medalight, which is supposed to be some kind of nanochip that changes people's dna, and makes them immune to the virus.
Then enter real life 2020, the covid pandemic literally happened. which mirrored everything that I wrote about
I wanted to use BodySlide to make all women's breasts bigger in the game (clothed or unclothed). It worked on all the NPCs that I have seen so far, except for Mama Murphy.
So I got to thinking that Mama Murphy's vanilla outfit does not support BodySlide.
So I then found your mod.
In your Posts you keep referring to some "Vanilla Mesh Replacer". I have no idea what that is. I looked on Nexus Mods and didn't see a "Vanilla Mesh Replacer". Your mod doesn't have any list of Requirements on the main page. And none of your files are named "Vanilla Mesh Replacer." I just guessed that by "Vanilla Mesh Replacer" you actually meant "Murphy Outfit Replacer 1.1". Regardless, from the Posts, it seems that "Murphy Outfit Replacer 1.1" does not support BodySlide. Correct me if I am wrong.
So instead of downloading "Murphy Outfit Replacer 1.1", the only file from your Mod that I downloaded was "Mommy Murphy's Outfit Bodyslide CBBE". I then made a body preset where all the women have 100% pregnant bodies and 220% boob sizes. I did a Batch Build for everything. In the game, all clothed NPCs seem to be pregnant and all unclothed NPCs seem to be pregnant. Except for Mama Murphy. She's pregnant when nude, but when clothed she looks perfectly normal. This tells me that your mod doesn't work.
It either does not work, or there are steps that I need to take that you did not include in your instructions. Actually, I don't see any instructions on your Mod page. So no wonder I am confused. In fact, the entire Mod description is confusing. I'm not even sure what it is for. I don't plan on wearing Mama Murphy's outfit. I don't really want to have her outfit as an Inventory item. The only thing that I care about is to have her original outfit support BodySlide so she looks like other women when clothed.
If you could help me achieve this, that would be awesome.
I did have 'Jiggle Physics - Boobs and Butt' by NathMods installed for breasts and butt physics. (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/82699) But even with that uninstalled, your mod did not work as I wanted. I also did Batch Builds for everything, including the grandmamonk outfits from your mod, CBBE outfits, CBBE body, and CBBE physics. But still, in game, her clothed appearance remains exactly as it was originally (non modded).
vanilla means the game files provided by bethesda, not modded stuff. mesh is modelling that creates 3d objects for textures to be placed on. bodies, armor, buildings, etc replacers are files with the same name and folder location as an existing file. the existing file gets replaced when you have the mod load after the asset source in your mod manager's load order(dont worry if you dont understand the jargon, you dont need to know).
you can manually replace murphy's outfit by dropping the outfit you made in bodyslide in the same place as grandmamonkoutfit.nif and accepting the overwrite. if you dont know where the bodyslide creation is, i think it says where it puts it when you make the outfit. you could also just search your folders for grandmamonkoutfit.nif. mine is in data\meshes\Clothes\GrandmaMonk
Any chance we could get a sleeveless only version for CBBE, but keep the rest of the outfit? I just noticed that the sleeve clips through the pip-boy a lot.
Yes, sorry for the late arrival to mod page. I want just the default murphy outfit with the separate head piece, minus the sleeves. Tried to do this myself in outfit studio, but I have no idea what I am doing. Edit: It's fine if it does replace murphy's outfit, so long as the player character can obtain/wear it. Just trying to avoid clipping issue with pip-boy, that's all :) Edit 2: If it helps, the first photo on this mod page minus the sleeves would be perfect!
ok you can download the vanilla mesh replacer. the quality is higher than the other outfits cos i didnt know what i was doing back then. it doesnt have dismemberment, male(since vanilla doesnt have male), & it wont have first person arms without a .esp to edit vanilla records..
Sorry to bother again, but I can't get the outfit to show in-game. I downloaded the vanilla mesh replacer with the main file and the CBBE Bodyslide, but only the default outfit shows. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
The one i made should repalce the outfit worn by Murphy, not the duplicates from the mod i made 2 years ago. if you have a loose file version of GrandmaMonkOutfit.nif already, you'll need to have the new one load after the one it's replacing. are you using Vortex or Mod Organiser?
too many variables. i uploaded a new .esp version with sleeveless as default vortex, in attempting to work for many kinds of games without the need to understand and sort mods, is difficult to manually change.
no, the vanilla outfit doesnt have sliders and i forget how to make them. im sure there is a specific tutorial on youtube or something somewhere. here is a general one if you wana be able to do everything, the pages button on the right: https://github.com/ousnius/BodySlide-and-Outfit-Studio/wiki
it would be easy to do that. i kept it simple because, imo, people who want this probably want balanced armor what changes would you want?
lining and tech mods? changeable gloves? limited bodyslots? color variants? (easy but boring to implement) ability to hide segments? (i dont know how to do this one)
really? that would be cool bud All of them, the ability to bodyslide, color segmant, wear fragments of a costume (so a mama murphy jacket open without a shirt and barefoot.) I would appreciate it my bud
Any particular bone set you want covered? cbbe? fusion? Bodytalk(was deleted i think)? Atomic Muscle?
ive never made a fallout outfit for bodyslide before but it was easy for skyrim so i can try. i can do barefoot, remove the shirt, and cut the sleeves. i cant give the beads separately since they are a small model without full mesh.
i just looked into what it requires for color swaps. its only and 8 step process but i dont have a program that gives me the texture file converter... uh, cant be bothered. i'll add gloves, lining, tech, and a bunch of mesh variants.
I made em in vanilla. i'll add cbbe later when i feel like modding more.
a bit of a problem. changing the outfit to fit the player means it's not old lady sized anymore! i had a look into armor mods that change the look. it's a lot of work(scripts) unless i add requirements like: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6091 i'll just put the mod up with the variants in murphy's inventory.
I accidentally changed her clothing with a mod that allows access to certain NPCs inventory , and her default outfit just vanished. Hopefully I can now restore it.

oh no man
It's giving me this warped back look my bud
if you do have 3b, it probably means you dont have cbp that affects vanilla breast bones
ok, i added a cbbe without 3b physics bones.
I have cbbe physics
have you looked to see if one exists?
it'll be accessible, though!
