using vortex (yeah, i know), the mod doesn´t install in the correct sound mod folder or the mod is installed outside , if it doesn´t work, look for a similiar named folder and move the sound files of this mod to the correct one.
It's okay, I use NMM community edition off GitHub. Partly because I don't like how mo2 and vortex handle their installs, considering all I you have to do is keep track of what you do to your install folder (aka "just don't f*ck up"), and partly because I like to make complete backups of all my modded games, so I can share my custom tailored games with friends who either don't want or don't know how to mod, and certainly would never bother using xEdit.. let alone resolving conflicts, sorting or cleaning, so it's easier to have a regular folder to drag n drop for their dumb dumb brains. Also, I'm old and I don't like change.
But really, the biggest reason to use it is how much it pisses people off that I still use it. That alone makes it worth it.
This is kind of a jank work around but a possible fix that I managed to find was installing another mod that changes the same sound files and then reinstalling this mod over that one. Another possible solution is if you are using a mod manager such as MO2 is to install it both in your mod managers data folder that it pulls from as well as installing it into the games main folder as well. Sorry I cant be much more help than that.
