I tested this mod for a long time. I haven't found any problems. Works great for me and sounds really good on my JBL Quantum 810 with Dolby Access. Thank you for your mod! My load order is after all weapons but before crafting mods. Maybe that helps one or the other.
It will work proper if you best way download it manually, erase the esp outside the data folder in the archive, save the change if asked and last install it with your favorite mod manager. The result of installation must be an folder with sound files included and the esp file at the end. Good luck!!!
I had the same problem using MO2 - there is something weird with the file/folder structure in the download. There is a data-folder above the esp. And therein is also the esp with the sound folder. I reduced it to the content of the data-folder and now it works.
