Don't hesitate to leave a comment if the difference is not immediately apparent with this mod compared to other mods silencing the player character. Thanks!
This mod would be so much better if it skips the PC dialogue. Just muting it isn't really enough considering it makes waiting around for 5 seconds really awkward and immersion breaking
Thank you. I am a synth and use this to remove the human grunts and such. I changed low health heartbeat to an electronic alarm and use Cough with sounds changed to mechanical stuff.
The only player silencing mod that actually plays nice with my gigantic modlist, so props for that. In fact, compatibility is almost 100% guaranteed. I'm glad this exists.
Yeah, this sorta works, and would be a nearly perfect solution if not for the animations seriously rotating the canine clockwise - if you catch my drift. Bethesda RPGs from Morrowind to Fallout NV have never caused me any problem with the way interactive dialogs with NPCs functioned. Irregardless, great news fans, some genius decides that the Sole Survivor needs a real boy's voice? Hey, might be a good idea, or maybe not so much, depends. Evidently there wasn't anybody in the room at the time clever enough stand up and say: "Aren't we overlooking that fact that the Sole Survivor is configurable by the user/player, hence one size fits all just isn't gonna cut it this time, even disregarding some of the totally lame lines we plan on giving the voice actor to work with". Seriously? Why not play an Argonian with the voice of a Khajiit? Wouldn't that be just as super peachy (and annoying)? Evidently the phase "If it isn't broken don't fix it" is meaningless to some people.
Anyway, I just stated playing this game and this is only one irritating issue out of many for me so far. I'm hoping that with a dozen or so mods it might actually be a decent game to play after all. Par for the course for Beth games IMHO (Huzzah, praise the nine for modders!). Actually, because of the aforementioned animation issue I'm thinking of trying a "deeper voice" mod, but if that doesn't flip my pancakes I'll be back to this one. So, much thanks for making the mod. Endorsed.
Hey, your "mute player" mod is the one i prefer but since mod organizer 2 is out for fallout 4 now i just noticed that your mod isnt supported in MO. Is there anything you can do about this issue?
The error message is: None of the avalible installer plugins were able to handle that archive.
Sometimes that happens with MO2. It's an MO problem not a problem with the mod. Unzip the file, and then zip all the files inside data into a new esp. Drop that in mod organizer/downloads and then install like normal.
