Well, the good news is that S7 won't conflict on Apply Combat Hit Spell entries (it hasn't for some time now).
The bad news is I won't be able to update for a bit.
The other news is that S7 is receiving a major update soon. Emphasis on vagueness of soon. So I'm not doing any perk patches until I've finished that update.
Hey I've updated the S7 - MAIM Patch for the new MAIM Redux, did some quick ingame testing with various weapons and NPCs and everything seems to be working fine. NPC/Player Bleeds & Headshots work & S7 skill xp is also working. If it is okay for you, I can post it here on Nexus for the time being until you update or just send it to you privately.
I'm fine with you posting it. If you'd really like for it to be uploaded to this page, you can DM it to me, and I'll give you full credit for the patch. However, if you plan on receiving DP for the mod, you'd need to upload it on your own page, as I often don't opt in, and when I do, I send it to charity and/or any asset contributors. I don't really consider patches as asset use per se, so, again, if you want DP for your efforts, please make a new mod page for it.
Hoping for some good news, @Corrunda. I'm setting up my new playthrough now and was just looking to see if there's anything for S7 and the new Maim! :-)
Oh f*#@ me hasn't it been in beta since 2021 lol Not expecting you to actually have an answer but how difficult is it to learn? Is it something that could be learned through a tutorial for someone with a decent understanding of modding and gaming file structure? I've used FO4Edit to change values of inventory items, locations armor is worn, scrap everything edits. but I've never done a full on patch.
I guess what I'm wondering is, if I took the time to learn how to patch mods where does this fall on the scale of Perfect Patch for Beginners and f*#@ Me What Did I Get Myself Into?
It's easier to patch in the Creation Kit, because you can copy entries over. Otherwise, you have to go through each spell in xEdit and drag the entries over. I'll get around to it when I get around to it. I've been very busy.
